  1. look in guides http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6376
  2. What kind of CD. As in type of files on cd. Audio or DATA
  3. Look for a firmware update for your drive. From google I could find there is a 1.08 firmware but only you know whether your using a dell computer lenovo laptop etc. So see manufacturer of your machine for a firmware update or LG if your drive is not OEM etc.
  4. so when your dvd+rw is full read to iso and burn to dvd-r
  5. try a +RW try some modern ones like 4x or 8x
  6. look for a firmware update then try with a new disc.
  7. your link does not work http://chitchat.at.infoseek.co.jp/vmware/vfd.html
  8. Get a program called Gspot http://www.headbands.com/gspot/v26x/GSpot270a.zip then drag VTS_01_1.VOB or browse for it with gspot then look at right hand side for PAL or NTSC
  9. ImgBurn has no facility to change booktype on Pioneer drives so your problem lies elsewhere.
  10. clean burner with cd lens cleaner and thats about it before buying a new dvd writer to replace it.
  11. It is either your source, the RW or your drive. I like audio and on a couple of drives I have some RW sound poorer than on others using the same files as test. In older days when I used to use Audiograbber if yor CPU was not fast enough and say you converted to mp3 on the fly without wav, if at anytime the cpu buffer went into RED you got very poor conversion( very high treble and hashy sound)
  12. Really how hard is it to not touch mouse whilst burning. It asks if you want to cancel anyways. Edit hang on you mean something else.
  13. yeah I know hence the name Edit maybe a should have made it a bit clearer & told full story. When I tried to get all seperate filters it took ages either down to me getting packet loss or their server having a fit so I decided to put em all together for anyone else wanting to mess on with them.
  14. http://rapidshare.com/files/114803804/mpc_home_cinema_and_all_filters.rar
  15. media player classic 6490 does probably VLC as well.
  16. Try adding some files to it then or a folder
  17. Can you post a log of failed burns The memorex ones have a chance of being the reason. If you burn as detailed above with verb @2.4x it should work, you may have to use 4x on that samsung drive but post log so we can see what the drive is doing whilst burning to either media.
  18. Do not mess on with ImgBurn settings right click .dvd file and choose burn with ImgBurn Tick box in ImgBurn settings to Auto booktype and tick Calculate Optimal Below is whats in .dvd file do not alter it (your iso name will be different though) LayerBreak=1913760 GRAW2.iso
  19. Dunno what your exactly saying but I would be testing that drive for errors with the WD Lifeguard (diagnostic tool from their site) and return it if any are found. ImgBurn is not responsible for the slowness of your drive.
  20. See Asus about a firmware update to LG drive or LG (I had a quick look and found nothing) At least you can burn them @4x and if they work that is all that matters.
  21. Thats a good
  22. Lol
  23. Charming. Why not install windows 95 or 98 then. Anyways if it works for you great but a lot of hard work went into the latest version(s) and the latest version is not the cause of your problems (you have other issues that may well surface again using any version) Get someone to reinstall your operating system, check your pc hardware like memory/ hard drives/ PSU for problems and use the latest versions of all your software thats why software is updated to help you not hinder you.
