  1. in his case 2.4x was max I think his/her writer is laptop drive in a gateway machine and that certainly will not help nor his/her choice of media. Verbatim 2.4x MIS media maybe his/her only hope or get a usb2 enclosure and stick in a pioneer 111/112/115 and take the risk of semaphore timeout errors. Good advice there though @2.4x
  2. Uk buyers will get FA as per usual I got 2 players nearly bought another toshiba decided against it
  3. 2.4 is the lowest value for + media so your 1x writes at 2.4x

  19. BBC in their wisdom changed Torchwood transmission day to a Friday and my Freeview PVR was set to record On the Wednesday which was OK for the first 11EPS that aired Wednesday but It means I have missed the last 3 Eps. Dickheads
  20. Try a pioneer 112 or 115 if you main aim is 360 backups on quality media verbatim 2.4 The lg drives I have see them as 4x and will not allow 2.4x Might not be the same with the LG drive your looking to buy. I just know my pioneer 111,112,115 all burn MKM-001-00 made in Singapore and only 1 out of say 230 have failed and the 1 that failed was verify mis-compare which was down to dodgy DDR memory. TBH I have not burnt any Verbatim 2.4x disc's in my LG drives (have looked to see how they get recognised etc) but as I am down to my last 70 MIS ones and I don't want to waste a single one as I paid

  24. if you have the mds in same place as the Source File: D:\Super Smash Bros. Brawl.ISO and you get that error then your ISO image must be a zero byte file you could now if you cannot get the mds method working go back in to ImgBurn write setting and tick user specified and enter in or better still copy and paste in 2084960 then apply then burn your 7 gig + ISO
