  1. To start with, check your DMA settings as per the FAQ section. And you're right, the media you're using is crap, this will not help, your other computers drive may be tolerating them.
  2. OK, no one is going to give up on you, however, please answer the questions asked instead of scooting around them. I can see now that you are trying to burn a file type that ImgBurn does not support. So, here is your easiest option. (In my opinion). If you have a programme called DVD SHRINK installed, use that, if you don't, get it (It's free) and get it to output the file to an ISO format. You will find this option in the drop down menu when you hit "backup", (the last step) This will output all those files you are trying to burn to one large file (the combination of all the VOB's, IFO's, BUP's) with an ISO extension, Something like NAMEOFDVD.ISO. Now you can burn the above said with ImgBurn. Good luck.
  3. Jesus, I didn't know CMC's hit the DL market, what a f***ing disaster.
  4. Like I asked a while ago, if you had answerd the above question, you could have been burning by now.

  10. I thought all those buggers were dead and buried! Ah, memories, remember I was listning to the Bee Gees on one of those things going around Australia back in 1975, great sound for its time.
  11. Still cracks me up every time I see that thing.
  12. What type of file are you trying to choose? the ext. of it, Eg (.VOB .BUP.IFO .TXT .ISO .ZIP) you get the idea.
  13. Very true shamus, very few stores carry decent media, I managed to find one here in a suburb called Richmond, I'll see if I can grab their web site for you if you're interested.
  14. Yes it is LFC I find the +R Verbs with MCC dye far suprior to the yudens, the yuden -R's just didn't agree with my LG drive, the Verbs have been superb.
  15. Yeah, that's right, good when you're trying track down problems without wasting good media. I use them for that, and storing temp data, like backups.
  16. DB really is the RW king, To the best of my knowledge he's by far the biggest RW user within the beta team. He should be able to put you on the right tram with that question.
  17. Why don't you try some -R's before you smack it one?
  18. That really is good value polo, I use these things almost exclusively now, but they're not that cheap down here yet.
