  2. Did you have a good holiday? Welcome back.
  3. Age is a terrible thing MJ.
  4. I don't how that would have fixed your problem? But glad to see you're sorted.
  5. Copy and paste the info from the right hand side of your "new" discs please.
  6. Usualy used for large backups LFC, anywhere from 20 to 40 or even 80GB of data can be stored on them pending on the type you use, commonly used in large networks.
  7. Yup, as per all posts above. Success=media-media-media. In this case Verb +R DL.
  8. What is the file ext. of this file? Eg. .iso .bin .txt etc. And how did you create it? what software did you use?
  9. That would be the way to go.
  10. Which software did you use to create your DLT tape?

Happy birthday old timer, you're catching up fast.
  12. What is the error? Edit: I didn't see that before, it must be my slow connection.
  13. In my opinion, Verbs with MCC dye are the best out there. But it all depends what your drive likes I suppose.
  14. Give me something that can't be broken, and you can be sure I'll break it. It's a gift I possess. You would have some tough competition from our own DB there.
  15. I agree, specialy when it's just because "you can".
  16. Thanks for comming back to us.
  17. LIGHTNING, is it possible that if you use another programme on the formatted +RW, that it can "unformat" it by doing a quick erase? Maybe that's what's happening here?
  18. Probably none, other than the fact that it's "half a job", and if I know LIGHTNING, there is no "half a job" in his mentality.

    Movie Junk Man

    Hey MJ, Happy birthday dude.
  20. Just to add, the MDS (if you have one) is a small "instruction" file that contains all the info about your ISO file including the layer break info as mentioned by corny. If you have one of these (MDS) it is allways best to choose it for the burn, the MDS itself is not burnt, it just "tells" the software what to burn.
