  1. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks as those Riteks you have are low quality.
  2. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try burning at 8x or 12x.
  3. When you closed the tray ImgBurn verified the burned disc against the ISO image, and since there was no problem, the burn is good for use
  4. If it burned and verified OK then the problem might be in the source VIDEO_TS folders.
  5. Try this firmware update.
  6. That's because in Ez-Mode Picker there's no drive selected nor is it initialised. That's also why Tools -> Drive is disabled while in Ez-Mode Picker. You have to select a mode (and a drive if you have more than one) before you can use those functions.

  8. You should need to format the DVD+RW discs only once, and after that you can just overwrite them. ImgBurn looks for the 'Formatted: Yes' status and this is reported by the burner: if you use that disc with other burning software (which might not care about the formatted status) then the disc may lose it's formatted status. As for updating the used space, you can enable Auto (Calculate) option and it'll re-calculate everytime a file/folder is added.
  9. Look for updated drivers for your motherboard's chipset and/or IDE controller (use SIW if you don't know their brand/model). By the way... There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) but use your WinXP if you're going to update.
  10. You've got DMA problems (read this post from the FAQ on how to solve it). Also, since ImgBurn doesn't convert anything, you'll need to convert your file with DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar program in order to make a disc playable on any DVD player
  11. Try burning at 6x or 8x. Try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. If it still fails then read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  12. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/309000
  13. Try burning at 4x, and if that doesn't work, then read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  14. Try burning at 4x, and if that doesn't work, then try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. You should also try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  15. If it doesn't burn Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks then yes, your burner may be defective.
  16. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks if you can.
  17. Try burning at 8x and leave Verify enabled, or else you'll never know if it was a good burn or not. What's the brand of those blanks?
  18. They probably won't work since they might be looking for a drive that's different than yours
  19. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try burning at 4x or 6x. If it doesn't work then try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. If it still fails then read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  20. Burn that MODE2/2352 image to a CD then to see if it works
  21. Try burning at 8x or 12x. You might also want to try a lens cleaning disc on that burner.
  22. Please post the log from when you've created the image and burned it (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  23. Have you tried burning at 4x? If that doesn't help then try a lens cleaning disc on your burner.
  24. You can buy a burner that supports the blanks you have, or you can buy the good stuff that works on any burner
  25. Either your burner really doesn't like the dye/ink used to manufacture those CD-R blanks or there's something messing up the communication. Can you try a burn at 16x with Test Mode enabled? It would also be worth trying with Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs, or at the very least anything else than CMC Magnetics.
