  1. It could be a thousand and one things, and since our crystal ball is in the repair shop (worn out due to too much use,) you'll have to answer LUK's inquiry before we may be able to narrow down the problem. While you're at it, also post your Filter Driver Load Order (look in ImgBurn's Tools menu).
  2. Please post the log of the most recent burn where that happens (look in ImgBurn's Help menu). As for the SPTD warning please read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=11238
  3. Have you tried burning from an ISO image? If you really want to nail the problem then it's worth trying. Also post the log of creating the ISO image and burning it
  4. Are you using Vista or Win7? If you are then right-click on ImgBurn's shortcut and choose Run as Administrator. ImgBurn uses a small amount of memory in order to burn, probably much less than Ner0 uses to display its splashscreen
  5. Run the installer and it'll ask if you want to keep your current settings. You'll need to copy the files to a local HD before you can burn them faster than 4x
  6. What do you mean by "burn to USB"?
  7. How large exactly is that file? In bytes if you would, please
  8. Update ImgBurn. There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). As for the speed... Notice the average write and verify speeds: looking at them it seems the fastest burn speed your network can maintain is 4x, and just barely. Does the server have only one network card? Is it also used to access/share Internet traffic as well? Installing more memory and service pack 2 could also help.
  9. Seeing as it's a workout DVD maybe someone splitted it to force you to change the disc
  10. Yup, the disc is good. As LUK said above, the menu options probably were removed on purpose so that it would fit a single-layer 4.7GB disc
  11. Look in ImgBurn's Help menu
  12. And where's the log of that burn?
  13. Post the log of that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  14. DVD Flick uses ImgBurn for the burning part, so you really should be asking that question in DVD Flick's forum.
  15. If there is an error while burning/verifying ImgBurn displays a message box showing such error and waits for the user's decision on how to proceed. The problem is that your shutdown program later told Windows to shutdown, and after a timeout Windows forcefully closed ImgBurn, preventing it from saving the log.
  16. You can try but I'm not sure if it'll help Also avoid using the E: drive with other program(s) while burning, as that kills the transfer rate.
  17. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=dvd+shrink
  18. Your E: drive, is it an internal, external or network drive? It's not feeding data fast enough for burning at 6x and that's why you're getting so many buffer recoveries.
  19. Try burning at 4x. Try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  20. The Verify process checks data on the disc against the source image to see if they match: if they don't match or there's an error reading the disc then it was a bad burn.
  21. You've set the write speed to 2x and, even at that speed, the source drive couldn't deliver data fast enough. Check the fragmentation on your D: drive and avoid using it while burning. Is it an external drive like the burner? You should also Verify your burns.
  22. Then read that post again, especially the bit where it says Windows lies
  23. DVD Flick and ConvertXtoDVD can convert pretty much any video format to DVD-Video (i.e. VIDEO_TS)
  24. Look for updated IDE drivers for your motherboard's chipset and/or IDE/SATA controller (use SIW to find out brand/model). It also might be worth reading this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  25. You can try the other available write speeds. You can try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. You can buy a new burner. Or you could buy a few blanks to test them out.
