  1. Have you actually clicked the link? The .html you see in the link address redirects to the real file
  2. Update the burner's firmware to the latest version (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it has finished). Also try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. //edit too slow again
  3. It's explained in the posts above
  4. The burn process relies on the burner/firmware/media combination and, on a normal burn, there are no errors both when burning and when verifying the burn. I would say this is your problem: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  5. Update ImgBurn. Update the burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished), but this won't change the fact that the burner is very old and only support +R media at 2.4x You could also try with the other DVD burner you have on your computer.
  6. I think you need to crossflash it before you can bitset/booktype with it.
  7. Please post a log from one of the defective burns (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  8. Could you try reading that disc on another computer?
  9. There is an incompatibility between the USB enclosure's chipset and your motherboard's USB chipset. Please search this board for "semaphore timeout" and try the suggestions you find (changing USB cable/using another IO interface/etc). You might also want to limit the burn speed to 8x
  10. ImgBurn is a burning tool: it doesn't convert one format to another. I think what you're looking for is DVD Flick (free) or ConvertXtoDVD (paid).
  11. Please post the log from that burn attempt (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  12. That disc was damaged in a previous failed burn. Also you should verify your discs to make sure they were correctly burned.
  13. I've read the manual and it should work fine, but the only way to know for sure is burning
  14. Yours isn't the same problem Please read: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...ost&p=92788 http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...ost&p=93755

    Error

Let's see how long it takes before the disc becomes unreadable...
  16. Depending on the version you were using before, those errors might have gone unnoticed because ImgBurn wasn't looking for them. That's why updates are released, to make things better
  17. Are you sure? Do you have a Wii backup that you could put in your drive and copy the information shown on right side of ImgBurn's window?
  18. Why are you trying to burn a single-layer image onto a dual-layer media? The image fits a DVD-R/DVD+R disc just fine. You may have been just lucky enough that the disc possibly wasn't damaged in the process.
  19. What's the Disc ID of the media he gave you? It's shown in the log like this: This RITEKF1 dye is crap :&
  20. Update ImgBurn to the latest version. Try flashing the latest firmware on your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). If this doesn't solve your problem, try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks (the 8x ones preferably). If that still doesn't work, buy a new burner.
  21. Also update your BIOS as you're still using the first version.
  22. Please post the log from that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  23. Use SIW/Sandra/etc to find out which SATA controller you have then use Google to find out the manufacturer's website from where you can download the latest driver.
