  1. That drive is a CD burner and DVD reader, also known as a combo drive. Do I need to say that you need a DVD burner in order to burn DVDs?
  2. Please post the log from that burn attempt (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  3. Update ImgBurn to the latest version. Follow the DMA post of the FAQ (removing controllers/etc). Try burning at 8x or 12x, but notice your media is crap and you'd have much better results with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  4. You were scammed. ImgBurn is freeware. You should try getting your money back by lodging a complaint with your bank/credit card or with PayPal if you used it.
  5. If ImgBurn showed no errors then it was a good copy. Either the game uses some kind of protection or your PS2 doesn't have a modchip to play backups.
  6. Please read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  7. You get what you pay for.
  8. There is one: it's called PortableMode=1 and you have to add it manually.
  9. You haven't looked in the right place then...
  10. LUK's review? Where was that?
  11. Il ne devrait pas le faire. Essayez d'installer

  13. Complain to NOD32's developers. NOD32 chokes for several seconds on ImgBurn's installer but, at least here (4.0.424.0), its RAM usage peaked at 42mb. ImgBurn itself runs instantly.
  14. The media you're using is garbage. Try with high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  15. Install the latest ImgBurn version. Your drive should be able to burn Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Made in Singapore blanks if you can get them. You might also want to try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. If you want to get an external burner I think a Pioneer DVR-115/116 or DVR-215/216 in an external enclosure would be a safe option
  16. Please post the log from one of those burns (you can find the logs in ImgBurn's Help menu).

  18. Please read this post on how to solve that problem.
  19. Reverting to an older ImgBurn version probably won't solve this problem, which has been around for a while. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot the computer after updating is finished). What's the brand of the media you're using? Try burning at 8x or 12x for possibly better results. Do you use RAID? I'm asking because RAID controllers and optical drives don't play nicely together, so change it to AHCI at least or IDE compatibility mode if you can.

    Minor Bug

Nope. That option is reset when you click Reset Settings in that very tab
  21. Update ImgBurn to the latest version. It seems that disc was damaged in a previously failed burn. Did you but it brand new? Wasn't the box/package open?
  22. Drop it in ImgBurn's window and you might be able to burn it if it's supported. And no, there's no way you could get infected through ImgBurn: it just dosn't open the files in the way needed for infection.
  23. Make sure you have the latest drivers available for the SATA controller where the drive is connected to. Also please post your Filter Driver Load Order (look in ImgBurn's Tools menu).
  24. Use the Verify mode to check those discs against the source image, just to be sure they were correctly burned. Have you tried them on other Wii consoles?
