Thanks for sharing the information

Your problem is low quality media. You may want to try burning them at 8x or 12x, but it's easier to use high quality blanks such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden.
-
If I recall correctly DVD Flick saves ImgBurn's log in the same folder where the project is saved.
-
Try manually verifying that disc to see if it works. If you can do this with another drive/computer it's even better. //edit oopsie
-
Read my post above again please. The second part is the verify process, which checks data on the burned disc against the source image. You can disable the Verify before and even while burning, but then you won't know if the disc was correctly burned or not.

Why does imgburn put the certificate folder back in?
mmalves replied to MFC1885's topic in ImgBurn Support
The option is 'Create CERTIFICATE Folder' in Tools -> Settings -> Build tab, but why would you want to disable it? -
Yes, you would and, since you didn't get errors on the verify stage, then the problem is in the source (i.e. the content generated by DVD Flick). Have you tried their forums?
-
That looks like a good burn. Notice that the disc was burned then, after you've closed the tray, ImgBurn verified the disc to confirm it was a good burn. It wasn't burned a second time nor anything like that. If it doesn't work on the Wii then it probably doesn't like the burn quality you're getting by using that drive. Could you try on another burner? Preferably in one on a desktop computer Also update ImgBurn to the latest version.
-
Then why don't you write such program yourself? LUK has already said he has no interest in this. Because ImgBurn doesn't decompress the files by itself: it uses DirectShow for that, much in the same way that any player does.
-
ImgBurn automatically booktypes +R media to DVD-ROM on Samsung (TSSTcorp) burners, provided that the burner supports doing it. Laptop burners aren't all that great where burning is concerned, and the fact that low quality media can't be burned on them isn't surprising. You might be able to burn that crap on a newer normal-size burner in an external enclosure, or one installed on a desktop computer.
-
This and this site say both are the same drive. To crossflash you need to extract the files from SH-W162D_TS02.exe using WinRAR/7-Zip/etc, run Tsdnwin.exe -nocheck, select the 200708091111502732_SH-W162D_TS02.bin file as the firmware to flash and hit the Download button. Before doing this remove any disc from the drive and close the tray, then reboot the computer after the flashing is done.

For some reason there was another image queued up for burning, so that's why that dialog was shown Please update to the latest ImgBurn version
-
Asks for a another CD? ImgBurn doesn't do that, unless you've used the Queue feature. Please explain with more details and also post the log from that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
-
Do you remember what it said in the status bar? If your drive doesn't tell ImgBurn that it has finished then ImgBurn will keep waiting on the drive's response. Make sure you have the latest firmware available for your burner and the latest drivers for the storage controller where the burner is connected to. If it does that again, you can run ImgBurn and use the Eject button to open the tray.

The link in this post has a guide on how to manually remove it.
-
You might also want to use a lens cleaning disc on that burner.
-
Try burning at 8x or 12x, and if it doesn't work, then try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks.
-
You could try crossflashing it to SH-W162D TS02 for a better chance at burning
-
You can try with XP if you want but my guess is that you'll get the same error

The text says that you should download this one instead of the other -
The error comes directly from the drive, so I really don't think it's related to Windows 7. I've been using it in both x32 and x64 flavours and it works fine Try a lens cleaning disc on that burner and it should work. You may also want to try burning at 4x. If all of this doesn't work then you'll have to look for a new burner.
-
Have you tried at 4x? Where are your Verbatim blanks made? It's written in the packaging/box/spindle. You may want to try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. There's also Windows 7 RC1 7100 available now

Have a look here and see if INF Update Utility and Matrix Storage Manager can be installed on your system -
And please let us know if that solves your problem because no one else bothered to tell us

Are you using the latest drivers available for the SATA controller that the drive is connected to? Also please post your Filter Driver Load Order (look in ImgBurn's Tools menu). You might also want to enable FastWrite in the program's settings to speed up burning, but always leave Verify enabled
