  1. Crappy media. Use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and it'll work fine. Also there's a firmware update for your burner.
  2. I/O errors are reported directly by the drive and they can have a lot of different meanings (i.e. not all I/O errors are the same). That's why we ask for the log, so that we can see the I/O error description.
  3. Start your own thread and post a log showing the problem (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  4. You can use any backup/archive program to do that. ImgBurn is a burning tool, not a backup/archiving solution.
  5. You need a new drive in order to write DVDs. The one you currently can only write CDs.
  6. First of all, update ImgBurn to the latest version. Your burner doesn't support the discs you're using, so please read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  7. If you had looked in the Guides section instead of telling others how they should make their program, your disc would be done by now
  8. The burns process depends on the burner/firmware/media combination: the software (and its settings) doesn't even come into it.
  9. Ever thought that you may have reached a lower quality batch of an already low quality media? Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  10. Buy a couple of the Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks specified in the thread above and try them out.
  11. Because they're pure crap?
  12. How's this related to ImgBurn? Use MPC-HC or VLC Media Player to play that disc.

  15. It's your burner that's returning those error codes. If you use an older version of ImgBurn you'll have the same errors. The burning process relies on the burner/firmware/media combination: if the burner is good, the firmware is the latest then you should try with Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Made in Singapore blanks to rule out media as the problem.
  16. It takes 45mins to burn at 2.4x, which is the lowest speed possible on +R media, so if yours is taking more than that, then you have a bigger problem. Of course if you posted the whole log from that burn we could've seen this earlier.
  17. Try the other available write speeds, and if that doesn't work, then please read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  18. Where are your Verbatim blanks made? It's printed on the box/spindle/etc. Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive.
  19. It's probably a randomly named file. Doesn't BitDefender have a log of some sort indicating the virus name?
  20. Use Media Player Classic Homecinema to open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file created by ConvertXtoDVD, does it play OK? You can also try with PowerDVD/WinDVD to open the VIDEO_TS folder.
  21. Read that blog post again and, this time, pay attention to what it says
  22. What does it say in the Log window (that you shouldn't have closed )? Please copy and paste here.
  23. That you're an idiot we knew since the first post, but telling others "do not donate" makes you a complete asshole, congratulations
