  1. Burn memtest to a rewritable disc then reboot your computer and let it do at least 2 passes, as your system seems to have memory problems.
  2. Please post the log from that attempt (you can find the logs in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).
  3. Follow what this post of the FAQ says (removing controllers/etc) and the speeds should go back to normal. You might also want to burn at 4x instead of MAX.
  4. Please start your own thread and also post the log from that burn (you can find the logs in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).
  5. Please post the log from that burn (you can find the logs in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).
  6. ImgBurn itself works fine on Windows 7. What seems to be the problem is that the driver is returning bogus/wrong error codes. For example: with Win7's native storage drivers I can't set the booktype on +R media or advanced options for my burner.
  7. Look in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs and see if you can provide us with the log showing the error. By the way, I'm also using Win7 7057 on an Intel chipset though
  8. Decompress the attached file to ImgBurn's folder and try again with ASPI interface.
  9. Install the latest VIA Hyperion Pro and try again.
  10. If it's a VideoCD then it should play on most DVD players. If you load the BIN/CUE image in ImgBurn and click on the View Image Information button, what does it show?
  11. You should burn that to a CD-R/CD-RW then.
  12. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and it should work
  13. Notepad++ says the log has UCS-2 (UTF-16) Little Endian encoding with Windows formatting if that helps

    RAW DAO

Wrong section. And I highly doubt that would be implemented as it's only useful for copying protected discs, which ImgBurn doesn't do.
  15. What happens if you switch the interface to ASPI in ImgBurn's settings (I/O tab)?
  16. Use the 'Write files/folder to disc' option, add your files/folders to the Source list (you can also drag and drop them from Windows Explorer/etc) and click the Calculator button to see how much space was used and how much is free. When you're ready to burn click the big Build button.
  17. Installed Windows 7 to test a few things and ImgBurn 2.4.2.0 works fine on my system: Asus P5E3 Premium/WiFi-AP @n Northbridge: Intel
  18. There's newer firmware available for your burner. Remove any disc and close the tray before updating. Reboot after it has finished. If that doesn't help, try burning at the other available write speeds. If that still doesn't work, please read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  19. Follow what this post from the FAQ says (removing controllers/etc) and it should go back to normal speeds. You might also want to burn at 4x for a possibly better quality burn. Notice that the image you've burned has no filesystem. It was either incorrectly made or was made for a very specific purpose. If you need more help with this you'll need to tell us what you're trying to do
  20. It's all down to the disc's dye quality really. If you can't buy Verbatim then try burning the ones you have at 6x and 8x speeds to see if you get a better burn. You might also want to try blanks from other brands as they could be using Ritek dye and you may have better results with them. Don't get discs with CMC MAG dye though, they're pure crap :&
  21. By the way, both interfaces work the same. The options are there for people who need them for their own reasons (like you did due to buggy nvidia drivers). You can use the Verify mode to compare the disc against the source image. In fact you shouldn't turn off Verify when burning
  22. You can find the logs in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs
  23. Please post the full log from that attempt.
  24. Wouldn't it be far easier to use a backup program? Those features are available on most of them.
  25. What's the message shown in ImgBurn's status bar when that happens? Why have you changed Write Type to Incremental?
