If it doesn't work at the 2.4x and 4x available speeds then I guess you should try with Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) blanks, as they work best on most burners.

From our experience the best blanks are made by Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden

Can you please post that information from the Write mode too? Your log shows the burn being aborted less than a minute after being started, so that disc was probably damaged in the aborted burn.

Try burning at 8x or 12x and you might even get better quality burns If the disc isn't dirty/scratched then it's damaged. Try cleaning it and reading with the Samsung burner.

Close all unnecessary programs before burning. If you keep getting the 'unable to lock volume for exclusive access' error then please read the FAQ on how to solve this problem. As it was said on your other thread about this same problem, your discs aren't being booktyped correctly. Use the Book Type dialog to manually set the booktype to DVD-ROM before burning (use the EEPROM option to save this preference on the burner's memory). Alternatively you could add ATAPI iHAS120 6 to Lite-On OEM in the Advanced settings of the Book Type dialog.

If it's not a problem with ImgBurn then I'm afraid we can't help

Please post a log from a burn with that drive so that we can see what's going on (you can find the logs in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).

If it can't read any DVDs then I'd say your drive is dead and should be replaced

What's the brand of that disc? Have you been able to use it before with that same burner?

It's not a Wii game is it? Can your Lite-On burner read other DVDs?

Wrong booktype: it should be DVD-ROM. Use the Lite-On tab of the Book Type dialog to manually set the booktype of DVD+R DL media to DVD-ROM. Use the EEPROM option if you want to make this change permanent.

Are you burning an Audio CD or a disc with MP3 files in it?

Then open a .dvd file with Notepad and you'll see that you can use it for another game simply by editing the ISO filename inside it

Please post the log from that burn (you can find it in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).

When burning CDs the slowest speed usually gives a better burn (that isn't true for burning DVDs though).
