  1. The MDS file has some extra information about the image, like the layerbreak on dual-layer disc. If you select to burn the ISO file in Write mode and there's a MDS file with the same name, ImgBurn will use the MDS file automatically, after telling you so. Can you post the log of that burn? Look in ImgBurn's Help menu.
  2. Try using a new 80-wire IDE cable: set the burner as Master and connect it to the end of the cable. Also follow the DMA post of the FAQ (removing IDE controllers and rebooting).
  3. Abort, or you'll lose the disc as it obviously won't work in the x360 console. That's why LUK told you to use the DVD+R DL type of Verbatim media
  4. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=DVD-VR+authoring
  5. If it happens again while running as administrator then try LUK's approach
  6. What happens if you right-click on ImgBurn and choose Run as Administrator?
  7. It was a bad burn (the drive can't read back what it just wrote). Have you tried burning at 4x? If that doesn't help then try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and it should work.
  8. If you can find a way, yes, it should work. Look in your recorder's manual to see if it indeed uses DVD-VR or some other proprietary format.
  9. Have you restarted the computer after doing that?
  10. The free space available doesn't affect ImgBurn's functionality. Please proceed as LUK said and provide him with the debug log, as that helps finding out what's causing the problem
  11. Try burning at 4x, 6x or 8x and you might get a better burn. If that doesn't work then get Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Made in Singapore blanks and it should work
  12. Those are drivers for the several devices that your laptop may have. What would help with your problem is an updated firmware for your burner, which isn't available on that list (in fact that list doesn't show updated firmware for any burner at all). The easier option is to use higher quality media, such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  13. The problem is that the Panasonic DVD recorder wants DVD-RAM discs in a special format, and as such, they don't recognize DVD-Video content burned on DVD-RAM discs. By the way, ImgBurn can read and burn all the formats supported by your burner (if you're in doubt look in Tools menu -> Drive -> Capabilities).

    I/O Error!

You get what you pay for, and I highly doubt you and your friends are using Maxell blanks for their astonishing burn quality and success rate
  15. The link is in post #11 of this thread
  16. Slower doesn't always mean a better burn, especially on those Verbatim 8x blanks. My guess is that the slowest supported write speed for that media on your burner is 4x. Can you post the log of the latest dual-layer burn you've done with it? Look in ImgBurn's Help menu. Anyway, the best dual-layer media is Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) blanks, and the newer Samsung drives do better burns on them at 4x
  17. You've tried to overburn and it failed, but that's not BD25 capacity, that's BD50. In Tools -> Settings -> Write tab, is the option 'Prefer Format Without Spare Areas' checked or unchecked?
  18. Right-click on ImgBurn's shortcut and choose Run as Administrator (if you choose Properties you can set it to always run as administrator in the Compatibility tab). Alternatively you can follow the directions of this post of the FAQ thread.
  19. There's no "media" tab in Write mode, which is the mode you should be using to burn ISO images.
  20. Try with the recommended media as Dialysis1 said and it should work
  21. The burn process relies on the burner/firmware/media combination; the software doesn't even come into it. If the burner/firmware is new, can you guess what problem could be?
  22. That would be the 'Delete Image' option available when you're burning Pay attention to the dialog at the end of the burn, or else you might delete your audio files too.
  23. Can you post the log from those with warnings?
  24. That shouldn't be a problem since the image is being read from your F: drive. Your filter driver load order looks OK. Can you take that drive out of the USB enclosure and plug it into your PC? Or, if it's a laptop, try the drive with another IDE-to-USB cable? An easier option would be to try burning with Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) DVD+R DL blanks
