  1. Try with better media, such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks. Also follow what this post says (removing controllers/etc), as your burn speed is being held too slow by a misconfiguration.
  2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filename_extension The image you have was incorrectly made and that's why you're getting the file not found message. Until you can tell us which file extension your image file uses we can't help you further
  3. It's always good to have the latest version, but just updating ImgBurn won't solve your problem. I wasn't very clear the first time, but, what's the file extension of the image you're trying to burn?
  4. If you're burning ISO images use the Write mode (i.e. follow this guide). If you're burning AVI/DivX/XviD/MPEG/etc use Build mode and ISO9660 + Joliet filesystem in the Options tab.
  5. bobrap, please start your own thread and post the log from one of such burns (you can find the logs at Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).
  6. Please update to the latest ImgBurn version What type of disc image are you trying to burn? *.mds? *.dvd?
  7. You were lucky then because your Pioneer DVR-110D burner was using a generic write strategy on those blanks (provided all of them were CMC MAG-D03-64): Media Code Speed Edit V 1.1.0.21 ------------------------------------------ Firmware: PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-110D1.41 06/04/17 Bootcode: ------------------------------------------ Overall supported media types: 250 ------------------------------------------ DVD+R9 supported media types: 10 DVD+R supported media types: 72 DVD+RW supported media types: 21 DVD-R9 supported media types: 2 DVD-R supported media types: 102 DVD-RW supported media types: 28 DVD-RAM supported media types: 15 ------------------------------------------ DVD+R9 supported media types: 10 ------------------------------------------ CMC MAG_ D01 2.4x MKM_____ 001 8x,6x,4x,2.4x MKM_____ 003 8x,6x,4x,2.4x PRODISC D01 2.4x RICOHJPN D00 2.4x RICOHJPN D01 2.4x RICOHJPN D01 2.4x RITEK___ S04 2.4x SONY J01 SONY J11 Verbatim uses MKM-001-00 (2.4x) and MKM-003-00 (8x) dyes for its DVD+R DL blanks, and as you can see, they're much better supported even on old burners.
  8. I'm sorry but you were scammed ImgBurn is free software and you shouldn't pay for it. Other users that also bought copythatgame came here and from what we know they're disputing the payment with paypal/their credit card companies, so you should try the same.
  9. You can get it here: http://www.memtest.org/#downiso
  10. Until the next version of ImgBurn is released, use the ASPI interface (Tools menu -> Settings -> I/O tab). If it says you don't have ASPI, get Ner0 ASPI from ImgBurn's Download page.
  11. For the record, ImgBurn doesn't "rip" anything. And if that's a Wii game disc then it won't work as Wii games are protected and ImgBurn can't read protected discs.
  12. Play them on your computer (Media Player Classic Homecinema or VLC Media Player can easily do that) and you'll notice the difference
  13. Still with ASPI interface, if you change the Write Type from DAO/SAO to Incremental (Write tab in ImgBurn's settings), does it work? Also, out of my own curiosity, can Samsung's WININQUIRY utility correctly report all the information about your burner?
  14. Burning at a slower speed won't give you a better quality burn because, simply put, the media you're using is pure crap. Have you read this thread?
  15. Delete your ISO, clear your browser's cache then download it again. Use WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the ISO image from the ZIP archive you've downloaded (they'll ensure it's correctly extracted). Then burn with ImgBurn to a CD-R (preferably) or a CD-RW and have Verify enabled. 16. Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. You might also want to try with Taiyo Yuden 8x (TYG02 dye) DVD-R media.
  17. For dual-layer media DVD+R DL is the type to use and will work on most DVD players. As for single layer media, you'd have to test your particular DVD player, or at least search with Google to see other users' experiences with that device.
  18. The option is there for people who may want to try a slow read speed in order to read a scratched/damaged disc. Notice that not all drives respect this command.
  19. Try burning at 4x or 6x to see if it works.
  20. volvo! You don't look even a day older than a century
  21. Are you using the latest BIOS version? And the latest Marvell drivers from Asus website?
  22. Reading the pink bit at the top of the forum would be a good start
  23. That disc was damaged in a previous failed burn. Try with a brand new blank and it should work.
  24. Try with the ASPI interface (Tools -> Settings -> I/O tab). Use Ner0 ASPI (available from ImgBurn's Download page) if you don't have ASPI already.
  25. Each filesystem has some limitations: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_9660 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joliet_(file_system) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Disk_Format If you're just going to backup your files then use UDF 1.02 (you can select the filesystem in the Options tab).
