  1. If you add your burner name under the real OEM in the advanced section of the Book Type dialog then ImgBurn will automatically set the booktype to DVD-ROM for you
  2. You working for this online store? http://www.nationalpc.com.au/npc/itemdesc.asp?ic=1061231
  3. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 I highly doubt it doesn't play because of the booktype. Did you let it verify after burning? The log from that burn could help (look in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).
  4. First of all, make sure you're using the latest drivers available for your chipset/motherboard. There's firmware SB04 available for your burner. Remove any disc and close the tray before updating. Reboot after it has finished. Even though the error code wasn't correctly reported, the problem is low quality media, so please read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  5. Yes, they'll work fine
  6. As LUK said in this thread: The nvidia driver is buggy, so try the Windows default driver or an older version of the nforce drivers.
  7. In ImgBurn, go to Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs and see if you can find the log from the failed burn.

  9. Make sure you're using the latest drivers available for your chipset, as there's something messing the communication with the burner.
  10. I'm sorry but you'll have to search for other forums that might have what you're looking for. ImgBurn can't copy protected discs and we can't help you with that
  11. Please install the latest ImgBurn version if you haven't already, and use the Verify mode to check the burned disc against the source image.
  12. It shouldn't have any effect. Please let us know how it turns out with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media.
  13. If you feel like talking to them about how to booktype DVD+R to DVD-ROM, you may do so here: http://sony.storagesupport.com/product/328
  14. Have you tried with Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Made in Singapore blanks? A log from one of such burns also would help.
  15. Are you having burning problems? If you're not then leave it as is. You could try and remove the lower filters but then other programs that may rely on them will stop working.
  16. Doesn't matter which order they're installed: ImgBurn detects if DVDInfoPro is installed or not
  17. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks to see if it works. If it doesn't you might need a new burner.
  18. Have you installed the latest drivers for your chipset/storage controllers?
  19. Please post a log of one of the DVD-R DL burns, but I think your Pioneer DVD player doesn't support that type of media and/or it couldn't read it properly.
  20. Both ways should give the same result. Did you compare the data on the disc against the source data to see if they match? If those are real Verbatim blanks I wouldn't bother with dvdisaster at all
  21. The burner does that for some reason, even ImgBurn had to implement a workaround: On another note... There's firmware KL0P available for your burner
  22. Have a look in the Support section and you'll see lots of people have problems with dual-layer media, and some of them report back to us that Verbatim indeed solved their problems
  23. With ImgBurn in Write mode and a burned DVD+R DL disc inserted in the drive, please copy all the text shown in the Information area.
  24. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  25. I guess you'll need to use a DVD authoring program to do that
