  1. Rename the old MDS file to anything else other than the ISO filename and try again.
  2. Daemon Tools creates a virtual drive to which you can mount disc images. After you've mounted a disc image, the virtual drive behaves just like a real drive would, so, you can browse its contents and add them to ImgBurn's Build mode. That way you don't need to rip/extract the ISO image in order to use its contents
  3. Try burning at 4x and see if it works. You'd have better results with higher quality media, such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  4. It seems some program was using the ISO image and didn't allow you to delete it. Have you tried overwriting it with MyDVD9? Or perhaps saving with a different name or to a different location?
  5. Close ImgBurn then re-open it and the log should be there
  6. Please post the whole log of that burn (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs)
  7. Your Optiarc CRX880A drive is a CD burner and DVD reader only, also known as combo drive. Unfortunately it can't burn DVDs
  8. Import the attached .reg file to your Windows 2000 registry and try opening ImgBurn again. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ImgBurn] "GENERAL_WarningsInterferingPrograms"=dword:00000000 Disable_Check_For_Interfering_Programs.reg
  9. ImgBurn, by default, checks for the presence of programs that may interfere with the burn/verification process, and maybe this check is what's triggering your firewall safety. Rest assured, ImgBurn isn't trying to control your programs After ImgBurn is open, go to Tools/Settings, untick the 'Interfering Programs' option under the Display Warnings section and click OK. Close ImgBurn then open it again and see if you get those messages.
  10. Get from the official site then, and if you compare them you'll see both are exactly the same. Do you think anyone gets to be a Beta Team member around here?
  11. The folder the guide mentions is for when you have a folder with several disc images inside: when you drag+drop that folder, all the disc images contained in that folder will be added to the queue
  12. In that case, you can create a .bat file that calls ImgBurn several times with the right command line parameters (see ReadMe.txt that comes with ImgBurn) and you'll be able to burn all your VIDEO_TS folders to DVDs. It's not as easy as using the Queue mode, but it's definitely doable
  13. If they're disc images you can use the Queue function to burn them
  14. Mount your ISO image with Daemon Tools then follow this guide (use the virtual drive as source)
  15. At least the burner on your desktop computer is back to normal
  16. Which speed(s) are you burning those CDs at? Usually with CDs, especially Audio CDs, slower is better. Also make sure your Sony burners are using the latest firmware available.
  17. Cross-flashing would be an option, but not many people have that burner and I couldn't find which Lite-On model it is You're not alone either: http://club.cdfreaks.com/f92/pbds-dvd-rw-d...1p-help-227442/ (last post) http://club.cdfreaks.com/f92/need-help-dvd-burner-226268/
  18. That burner is in fact a Lite-On, so the Lite-On tab should work. Have you tried both 'Drive (For DVD+R Media)' and 'Drive (For DVD+R Media - EEPROM!)' options? If both options show 'No Additional Sense Information' then such commands were not implemented in the firmware, and unfortunately there's no way around it
  19. Using better media really would help, as laptop burners are known for being picky about media. Do you leave Verify enabled to ensure the disc was properly burned? Another option would be trying quality DVD-R media. On your desktop computer, proceed as this post says (deleting controllers and reboot) and check if it goes back to burning at normal speeds
  20. Please post a log from a failed burn with ImgBurn v2.4.1.0 in the ImgBurn Support section, as I highly doubt this is an issue with v2.4.1.0. You can find the saved logs in Help/ImgBurn Logs.
  21. It's not supported anymore. Please explain why you want it
  22. You can use ImgBurn for the burning step of the process (i.e. it would substitute Ner0). In order to do that you'll have to install a modified DVD Shrink (you can find it with Google), which has ImgBurn in the list of programs it can use to burn. Alternatively, you can set DVD Shrink to output to an ISO image, which you can double-click on and burn using ImgBurn
