  1. The files are sorted alphabetically in the filesystem, which is what your DVD player reads. My guess is that your DVD player is doing some kind of sorting. Unless you need them to remain in mpeg format you could convert them with DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD, etc, and the disc would be playable on any DVD player. Now if you need to keep them as they are, try renaming them like this in the order you want them to play: 001-originalname.mpg 002-originalname.mpg ... 020-originalname.mpg
  2. Look what Google found - http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_archive.html
  3. You should've read this. The DVD you've then created doesn't closely follow the DVD-Video standard and, as such, it may not play correctly on some (picky) DVD players.
  4. Try burning at 6x or 8x to see if you get a better quality burn, but you really should read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  5. You should also read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  6. The slowest burn speed doesn't result in the best burn quality, which is what all reader devices really care about: nowadays burners and media are better tuned for higher speed burns.
  7. Those aren't MP3s. What Cynthia said above applies to your case
  8. 1- you can disable the tray cycling in Tools -> Settings -> Write tab, but notice that doing this decreases slightly the reliability of the Verify process. 2- yup, please read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  9. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and burn at 16x instead of MAX. By the way, what's the brand of the blanks you're using?
  10. While you're at it, please compare all 46 files with their originals to see if more files are different.
  11. If you hex compare rzr-fa10.039 on the disc with the one from your HD, what's the difference? Have you tested your system's memory with memtest+ or similar tool?
  12. ImgBurn is just a burning tool, i.e. it doesn't convert anything. For that you can use DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar programs. That being said, failing the verification step is usually a sign of low quality media, old burner firmware, etc, so please post a log from one of those failed burns. You can find the previous logs in ImgBurn's Help menu.
  13. Did you Verify that burn? That's what actually tells you if the data on the burned disc is readable and matches the source image.
  14. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=12200 Oh, and update your ImgBurn.
  15. ImgBurn works with all BluRay burners.
  16. ImgBurn doesn't copy protected discs, and all games from Wii/XBOX360/PS3 are protected in some way.
  17. The PS3 doesn't play backups, and the same is true for a non-modded/non-chipped PS2.
  18. Please post the log from when you've tried with different discs (previous logs can be found in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  19. For converting common videos to DVD you can't get much better than ConvertXtoDVD. The discs that skip, what's the brand and rated speed of them? Which speed did you burn them at? Sounds more like low quality media/bad quality burn rather than conversion problems.
  20. ImgBurn is just a burning tool, and what you want is done with a DVD authoring tool.
  21. Try the Change Book Type feature using the LG tab, preferably with a blank DVD+R DL disc inside the burner (don't worry it won't get written). If I recall correctly, slim LG burners doesn't accept the booktype command, but they do booktype DVD+R DL media to DVD-ROM by themselves. If you have a DVD+R DL that you burned with that drive you can check the booktype under Physical Information (Last Recorded).
  22. If the DVD-Video content in the VIDEO_TS folder(s) you have is correct then it should play without problems. Notice, though, that ImgBurn doesn't do any kind of conversion (look in the Log window for the line 'Content Type:' it should say DVD-Video in order to work).
  23. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again. If it doesn't help then you could try cleaning the burner with a lens cleaning disc or getting a new burner that supports the dye used on those blanks. While you're at it you might want to take a look at this too
  24. If you can't return/exchange it then try selling it or keep for future use since it's your current burner that doesn't support it, but doesn't mean it won't work with other burners
  25. When you open ImgBurn and switch to Write mode, what does it say on the top right corner?
