  1. The problem here is with your drive reporting invalid data in the disc information structure. I have no idea how or why it's doing that, but without the 'DI' signature bytes, my program ignores the response - even if the rest of it looks valid (which it does).
  2. Because you're new and new people can only make new topics. We don't like thread hijacking here.
  3. I see no log of you trying to burn Verbatim DVD+R DL media. That's the whole point of that thread.
  4. Hmm I fired up my BH10LS30 and that seems to work ok - at least with the BD-RE I had handy. Do you have other discs you can try? They need to be BD-R or BD-RE... it's a different command to DVDs. Your 2nd link just takes me back to this page. Did you mean the first link? That takes me to the place you purchased them from - but yeah, I can see the MID listed there.
  5. ImgBurn's installer uses the opencandy platform for product offerings at the time of installation. If you opt-in to installing those products or don't opt-out of installing them, they'll get installed. None of of the products being offered are physically bundled with ImgBurn, they're downloaded as and when required by the opencandy platform - again, based on the options you select at the time of installation. My guess is you missed one of the opt-outs and so had something installed that you didn't really want. All mirrors carry the same setup exe.
  6. Yes, it's a LiteOn thing. I just noticed that info being reported in one of the LiteOn tools and thought I'd add support for reporting it too. I have no idea what it's really reporting on or how it works - sorry!
  7. Ok, I've looked at your log in more detail now and can tell you that it's not working because the data returned by the drive is wrong/invalid. byte 4 and 5 in the disc info are supposed to be 'DI' and yours aren't. This is how it should be...
  8. Not with that MID you aren't.
  9. It looks like something on your system is preventing the OS from 'opening' the device and returning a 'handle' to ImgBurn. Try booting into safe mode and see if it does the same thing. You could try uninstalling the controller from within Device Manager and then reboot so the OS finds it all again. Please also post your filter driver info - you can find that feature in ImgBurn's Tools menu (do it from within Safe Mode).
  10. Did you actually read it?! Post the new log of you burning some Verbatim double layer discs instead then please.
  11. Click 'Calculate' on the 'Information' tab or switch the input mode to advanced.
  12. Your drive can't read that disc. Try it in another drive or give up trying (assuming the disc isn't obviously dirty / scratched ).
  13. That's part of the Intel Rapid Storage Tech drivers I believe. Maybe you can find a newer version that is signed if that's what you're worried about.
  14. It's nothing to do with ImgBurn. It's an issue with the drive and its firmware. Eject the disc and reinsert it until the drive initialises it properly and gives you the speeds you're expecting.
  15. Put that disc (from the above log) back in the drive and copy + paste the disc info from the box on the right when you're in Read mode please.
  16. Try some Verbatim discs then. If it still does the same thing, it's either your drive or your system as a whole.
  17. You may need OHT enabled for non verbatim discs. All of ImgBurn's settings can be left on their default values. Maybe try it with 'Perform OPC Before Write' enabled/disabled though as that one could actually make a difference. Make sure you clear OPC history at least once before trying stuff again though.
  18. The names in the file system are always alphabetical. Your player should be able to play based on the ID3 tags or whatever and so play the files by artist, album etc.
  19. If all you're burning is a single m2ts file, you aren't burning a DVD Video disc... hence you won't get the 'create layer break' option.
  20. Your drive may be having issues with those discs, try some other (better) ones.
  21. Maybe they're some sort of value version. Either way, they're not what you want to be buying.
  22. No, if it doesn't search for them, it'll never find anything! If it's taking too long, you have an issue elsewhere - it should take a second or two. As you can see there, it takes no time at all normally. It searched for and found 8 devices in less than 1 second on my PC.
  23. Write mode has a 'queue' feature for that.
  24. Post the log please - as per the pink box up the top
  25. You purchased junk media. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
