  1. You may not want FHT on if you're using those discs and a modified firmware.
  2. You have to ask the drive for certain info and then read the appropriate field from within that info. So no, it can't be read using a hex edit program.
  3. Some usb drives/enclosures/chipsets just don't play nicely together. It might be worth trying another port / cable though.
  4. Have you tried at 4x? If your drive won't burn those discs, try some different ones.
  5. If you get an error, there's a problem. Not checking for the problem in the first place doesn't mean the problem isn't there.
  6. With a batch file, it's the only way.
  7. The first thing you'd do is unzip them and find what you're actually working with.

There are probably places that will help you out with the info you require, this just isn't one of them.

What you use it for is your business. It's just a generic burning tool.

Because I don't want that kind of talk on this forum. Go and be a pirate elsewhere.
  11. That drive can read BD discs but it can't write to them. It's what's known as a 'combo' drive.
  12. You'd have to remove the disc from the drive, load the program, switch to Write mode, enable I/O debug mode by pressing F8 and then insert the disc. That'll make the program write a load more into the log window than normal. Once that info has come up in the disc info box on th right, press F8 again. Then save the contents of the Log window to a file (Files -> Save As) and upload it here on the forum so I can take a look.
  13. It's an internal drive option, it shouldn't be forgetting it and there's probably nothing you can do about it if it is.
  14. Try the latest firmware for your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/SH-S223C/files.html
  15. All that 'unknown' stuff is what's causing the problem. Your drive isn't returning info to certain commands.
  16. 2x might just be no good for that drive/media combo. I believe VERBAT-IMd-000 are 4x discs, so you should at least try burning them at that speed. Slower isn't always better, it all comes down to how much fine tuning they've done in the firmware for a given speed. Still, I'm glad you found something that works
  17. How many have actually failed like that? Maybe it was just a bad disc? Failing that, update your drive with the latest firmware - http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/BH10LS38/files.html Try burning at the other supported speeds. If you still have no luck with the 'VERBAT-IMd-000' discs, give some different ones a shot. That's not to say your drive should be failing to burn those... so it could be a drive fault.
  18. Yeah, try the 3x speed and try a different spindle of discs - both MKM-001-00 and MKM-003-00 if possible.
  19. Maybe it would benefit from being cleaned?
  20. Your drive is reporting the disc is 'incomplete' and that the last session is 'damaged'. ImgBurn can only act on what it's told by the drive.
  21. OPC may make a difference, the others won't.
  22. Yeah, take it to them and get them to fit you a new one.
  23. Clear OPC History and try again. If it still doesn't work, maybe your drive just isn't up to the job of overburning. If you get a minute, post up a kprobe scan of the disc.
  24. You just went over the string length limit by selecting that many in one go. Add the folder itself... or use Advanced input mode.
  25. If you were burning an image file, yes. If you were burning a bunch of random files/folders, you can't do a full verify (comparing data to the source files) but you can at least check if the disc is readable. Switch to Verify mode and all will become clear.
