You're reading that info from different places! Notice how one says 'Source Media' and the other 'Destination Media'. Booktype stuff won't apply when it says 'Destination' because it only happen AFTER the disc has been written. The 'Source' line was probably from a verify and of course that happens AFTER the disc has been written - hence the booktype value is then valid and gets displayed.

Assuming these are commercial discs, they're probably protected so Shrink can't read them. Again, sorry but we can't help you with this stuff.

It's automatic with the Pioneer drives, you don't need to do anything (and you can't do anything).

Sorry, that's out of my hands. It's not part of my code that's crashing, but the internal workings of how Borland does things. OS function calls shouldn't fail though, are you running low on memory or something?

When reading or when burning? Sounds like it can't read the disc.

You must have been burning to a CD rather than a DVD. Nothing to worry about, it's just a name. Build mode actually just formats the data and passes it to the Write mode functions. There's only 1 bit of code that does all the burning for all the modes.

When you build something, it will pad to the nearest 16 sectors - so it's correct for burning ot DVD+R (which always rounds to 16). Really, it's just dummy data (zeroes) shoved on the end. As such, the ever so slightly smaller FS size is actually correct.

You can't just split files between discs and expect it to work, it won't. Search Google and find a guide for splitting a disc onto 2 discs - or of course you could just shrink it to fit on 1.

Delete the log and start from scratch. It might have gotten messed up with some weird characters and some internal saving function is now failing.

I've just burn a couple of data discs in nero. One using ISO9660 and another using UDF. Both discs came out ok and the 'file system' size was recognised correctly within ImgBurn. I'm now at a loss until you come back with more info.

It's limited to 5000 lines and there's currently no method of changing that.

Friendly Tip: Use PNG when you do screenshots, JPG is huge and looks awful.

How are you making the nrg's in the first place? If the values aren't right in the filesystem, they'll be wrong in the program when I tried to read them. If you tell me the exact steps used to create the ISO (and all the options), I'll do the same thing here. I don't blame you! Drives are pretty cheap now and you can get better ones than Dell would supply. Hope you get it sorted out eventually

Well, both programs tell you in the log where the LB will be put. Compare them and tell us what you see. I don't do anything with the LB at burn time, I simply maintain a steady stream of data to the drive from start to finish. The drive deals with all the LB stuff.

Did you try uninstalling the controllers as per the FAQ? Did you actually try a different cable or just look at the current one and say it's ok?
