  1. You can't.
  2. You probably didn't need one. If you did, it would have made it.
  3. I think a lot of people use Buuuuuuuuurrrrrn (or something like that) for that. ImgBurn doesn't do multitrack stuff, but if it ever did / does, I'm sure I'll also include Audio support.
  4. It still can't burn to those disc. Try some others (with a decent dye) and if you get the same problem, your drive is probably broken.
  5. Is the draft n spec even supposed to support wep? Maybe it's just not possible to keep it backwards compatible speed wise whilst keeping security tight. Ok so it's not ideal for everyone but I think it's better if they force people to use wpa/wpa2 if they want to make use of the newer draft n spec/speeds. I do hope they fix the ports issue though... last time I reported something to them it took about half a year for them to fix it.
  6. lol before I forget (even though it's not the 20th), Happy Birthday corny
  7. So when you were on the phone to netgear the other day did they say there was a fix in the pipeline... or did they say nothing at all?
  8. If all write speeds give verify errors and those are genuine verbatim discs (and not a duff batch), I'd have to say your drive is faulty and producing bad burns (or it just can't read back properly).
  9. Surely open ports are only really a problem if there's something listening on the other side?! All the normal 'service' ports are closed / stealth so I don't see a massive problem here. Oh and I can't believe you (or someone else) tested all the ports on grc.com! It only lets you do 64 at a time in custom mode and so doing all 65536 of them would take forever! lol
  10. Well I like IE 7 so I'm happy to hear the 'final' has been released
  11. Updates messing up burning... don't be daft! Do you think I leave my machines unpatched? Again, don't be daft!
  12. Well, it's not and that's why it won't play!
  13. 760 over the 755 any day of the week!
  14. If you burnt to verbatim dvd+r dl media, booktyped to dvdrom and saw 'layer break method: copied from original disc' in the log, you've already done everything you possibly can and it just wont work!
  15. There are too many options that apply to a 'build' to make this possible (well, right now anyway). Best I can offer is that you make a batch file and do your video_ts burning via CLI.
  16. Looks like your image is duff.
  17. Burn something and show us a screenshot of the IBG file within DVDInfoPro. It's normal for BenQ drives to have their buffer sitting at 90% all the time. Mine never reaches 100% either. Are you using an 80 wire cable for the connection between your motherboard and the burner? What's your CPU% usage at whilst burning? What happens if you use Discovery mode to burn a disc? Discovery mode gets it's data from memory (not a real image file) so it'll totally rule out your hdds. The disc it produces will of course be useless to you though!
  18. It does write, but only to the + (plus) format DVD discs. Also check the drives firmware is up-to-date as new versions fix issues with certain media and allow the drive to support newer types of media.
  19. Hmm not sure to be honest, I would think it's just 1 lens. Being able to read a disc doesn't mean it's fine though. I guess it's worth trying a cleaning disc but don't get your hopes up. As for what to replace it with....any of the latest models of the decent makes will do. Look in the 'drives & media' forum to see what we (myself and the beta team) are currently using.
  20. Well if Imgburn is the problem, I'd just close it! If that doesn't work, it was never Imgburn in the first place.
  21. Cool, I hope that one works for you. If not, at least you've got a spare for when you find the real problem
  22. ok, that could be where the problem is coming from The program opens with a 'current folder' and normally that's the ImgBurn folder. Whatever the 'current' one is, the program always keeps a handle open to it - not my doing.
  23. There's no test besides just burning something! If it won't burn + verify on any media, your drive has had it.
  24. It's a MessageBox and a 'yes to all' button doesn't exist in that API. Although YOU might only get 100 or so errors, a 'Yes To All' could in theory go through a whole disc, i.e. over 2 million if the image really doesn't match the disc (where the user put the wrong disc in or something equally stupid!). That's why verify doesn't do it. It already failed verify so there's little point in continuing with thousands and thousands of errors. That's not what Verify mode is all about.
  25. No, it just depends on the type of disc it's mastered onto. All DVD+R DL / DVD-R DL discs we can buy are OTP. That's not really the problem here though. Sometimes, PTP discs can have L0 The problem here is that the layerbreak position isn't on an LBA divisible by 16. That's not possible/acceptable according to the specs so I don't really know how they did it! Even with rounding up, it still doesn't match any IFO LB position, hence why you'd be better off redoing the image.
