  1. Have you used any firmware editing program such as MediaCodeSpeedEdit (though, from memory, that only changes DVD speeds, not CDs)? As LUK says, I can't believe those discs have those write speeds (and your first log in post 3 showed them as only 4x). With those high speeds, they actually look more like CD-Rs. If so, I wonder if they are being misreported as RW discs to begin with. Also, have you tried to erase the disc in any other burning program? EG Ner0. Finally, delete the PXHelp20 filter. It's unnecessary. Regards
  2. Or, if you wish to keep menus (on both discs), try VobBlanker - guide on site. Regards
  3. Sorry I'm a bit late mate. Hope you had a great day! Regards
  4. Use build mode and set your destination as your hard drive. Give the ISO a name and you're done. See the guides. Regards

  7. The difference between writing an opinion about how a group of people (mostly based on race, relgion or colour) going about their business behave and live their lives (allowed) and inciting people to hate (disallowed) is a fine line. Freedom of speech or not, inciting hatred is wrong. Certain countries, including my own, have (quite rightly in my view) enacted anti-hate laws. Let the courts decide what is incitement to hate and what is purely an opinion about a group of people. Regards
  8. Post is too long to read, much lesss consider and think about! A link would have been better rather than a cut and paste of the Times' article (complete with their offer to subscribe). Regards

  12. So: 1. Pick the blue one (it is the original) 2. Change your media to Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore 3. Decrease write speed to 2.4X (especially across USB port) 4. Turn on verify Anyway, your log shows a successful burn. Regards

  14. Blackcrack (hmmm) Please read post 6 again (Shamus quoted that). Regards
  15. Most standalone DVD players play DVDs only. This requires filesizes less than 1Gb (that's why VOBs are 1,048,574 kb). All DVD players adhere to the UDF 1.02 filesystem. So ensure UDF is ticked when burning a DVD. If the file is an AVI that you are sure your player can play, and it is over 4Gb, then again, do as ImgBurn suggests. However, check the player documentation to ensure it can play DivX/AVIs. Regards
  16. Happy birthday mate. Hope you had a good one. I wonder what poofs have to do to stay healthy? Regards
