I bought a 20 pack of the Verb printables from NewEgg about 2 years ago for $30 with a $10 MIR, you just have to keep looking as they aren't on sale nearly as often as the SL discs. Might want to keep an eye out at: http://www.rima.com http://www.meritline.com http://www.supermediastore.com I still have about 8 of the original 20 left as I don't see many movies deservant of the extra cost.

Why so slow to begin with?

On the back of the drive above the jumper pins there should be either a label or engraving that follows as such: CS = Cable Select MA = Master SL = Slave If the drive is at the end of the IDE cable, this drive should be set to MA. If it is connected intermediately the setting should be SL.

I don't do multisession discs, so no need for any other app for burning other than Imgburn.
