  1. supersites, home video DVD's should have no protection so just put them on your hard drive as .ISO file and use IMG to burn them to another blank media. Easier is ISO read then ISO write using another favourite program of many As Corny said though, IMG will burn mages from .ISO files and does a damn fine job doing it. IMHO.....

Hey Zac, here in Canada, well at least Ontario, if you buy something and its not working or unsuitable or whatever you can return it to point of purchase for a refund or a new product. More and more stores are now offering an instore voucher for the amount of the product instead of / or an option to a refund. I guess their way of keeping the money in their pockets.

Makes me wonder if a company that races a product to market either to be first on the block or out of monetary greed, doesn't deserve this kind of reprocussion.......... IMHO.........

gnowangerup, I don't believe Pioneer drives support bit setting. I have a 109 and it won't support it and the 110 doesn't either. I might be wrong but thats why the pioneers aren't listed in IMGburn.
  8. joan151, I believe DVDD will use the layer break designated on the MDS file that was generated along with the ISO file in your folder your using to burn from.
  9. MDS is just a file that is generated along with the ISO file when making a 1/1 Copy or creating a ISO file on your hard drive. It just basically tells your burner where to put the layer break for dual layer burning.
  10. Hey Grain, Just went and bought an Epson R200. Exceptional printer and it does a fantastic job on cd-dvd printing as well. Had an Epson C84 but after reading these posts had to buy the R200. Glad I did....... How you been doing anyways, I haven't been on much, lots of crap happening here with work and contract talks going on, right now working to rule so don't know how long that will continue before it might escalate toa full strike.

  15. Yes, Burns with IMGburn are always finalized.
  16. Welcome to the forum Elmo Sorry but, IMG burn is Just a burn program, and an excellent one at that, but it will never be anything more. Laws are different in the various Countries , but IMG Burn will remain a BURN ONLY Program. #39;(

    J'mets truck runnuth over..................
  19. ssdd, if you are editing the material your burning before using IMG, maybe preset the output size of your files to say 4450 instead of the standard 4.7. This will complete the burn before hitting the outer edge of your blank media. Some editing or shrinking proggies allow you to do this. This may solve your hanging on finalizing probs.
  20. Welcome back Polo, Glad to see everyone made it through safely.............
  21. Micheal, dirio46 is correct, better check your manual that came with the burner to see if its able to handle burning DVD-R discs. I'm using a pioneer DVDR 108 which can burn to most formats of blank media, including DVD-R's.
  22. Happy Birthday Ken Jr. Party on man.............. .Have a great time tonight, you won't remember anything tomorrow anyways..........
  23. Spinner, don't encourage him................ #39;( #39;(
  24. Micheal, Taiyo Yuden is a very good brand of media. Bit more expensive then some cheaper brands, Memorex for example, but almost guaranteed to work for you. Good speed to use them at is 4X, regardless of what your drive can do. DVD-R format seems to agree with most DVD players.
