Hi and welcome to the forum, Lemonhead!
The same issue with both burners?
The only thing I can think of is that the auto player is grabbing the disc.
You have the setting 'Lock Volume' enabled in the Write tab in the Settings?
Sounds to me as you should try to find nVidia chip set drivers for Win 7. The Vista ones might be not working so good.
The 6x write speed is the one I use with that burner and media code when I burn, as it seems to give the best results.
Your hard disk can't feed the burner with data fast enough.
Most common reasons:
You are using the computer while burning
Defragged hard disk could be needed
If it passes the verify stage, most modern burners can still do a good burn despite the buffer issue.
Might be worth a try to re register the .dll file.
Search for this file in your computer Comctl32.dll
Then open up the run option in Windows.
write (change to path to whatever it's in your system)
Regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\comctl32.dll
I guess your No-Name burner is actually a burner from Emprex/BTC. They left the scene some years ago.
However it's a rather old model, so I do think a new burner will save you the current cost of producing coasters.
Hi and welcome to the forum, MirrorMirror!
Sounds more as a problem with your video drivers.
Try to check mark this fellow:
Main Menu -> Tools -> Settings -> tab General page 2 -> Don't Use DirectDraw Overlays
All updates from Windows Update installed?
Something from Microsoft regarding this .dll file and XP.

You have CA Internet Security Suite installed?
These are your available speeds. Some burners allows lower rated media to be burned at a higher speed.
Some burners like to burn at higher speeds. Slow is not always the best one.
Hi and welcome to the forum, angelznnyc!
Someone played a trick with you. Try to get your money back.
This program is free and can't copy protected games. It's a burning program.
The main movie is usually in the largest VTS_0* set. Look which one of the VTS_0* sets that have the most amount of .VOB files attached to it. VOB files that ends with a zero are the video that plays for that specific menu of the VTS.
In this example the main movie is in VTS_01
Attach this file to a posting window. You need to press the 'More Options' button in the posting window to see the attach stuff option.
You can also open up the graph file in the free program BurnPlot, that you can find here:
http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
or/and then just post a graphic image of the file.
