new probelm ive enclosed log file please help
dontasciime replied to catman25's topic in ImgBurn Support
sorry but your not exactly making it clear. you need to test 1 stick if it fails take out put in another stick of ram test that if that fails another stick test etc etc. If all your sticks of ram are testing with errors, you should be using memtest + from the link i provided and burn that to a CD so your computer can boot from it, rather than using windows to test memory (sorry but windows is no good for testing memory , I have had loads of memory that tested fine in windows but was in fact faulty) If all you memory fails in memtest + you need to check for a bios update for your motherboard, if that still does not fix it, try just 1 stick in slot 2 and test again. if it still fails you need a new motherboard or buy 1 more stick of ram if that also turns out to be faulty you def need a new motherboard -

The benq firmware stands a better chance of burning MKM as it's in the write strategy. I cannot see if the plex 1.02 firmware has this mid code or not. I have uploaded all you need to change the drive to a benq1640 with BSRB firmware which has the mid code from your dual layer disc's. It's either flash or buy a new drive . It's not hard to do. download what I uploaded http://ascii.adsl24.co.uk/flash2benq.rar extract rar file if you do not have winrar get it here www.rarlabs.com once extracted double click bqflash.exe and then click open firmware you want to load BSRB.exe make sure your plex 740 has no disc in drive and tray is closed and that in the dropdown box the plex is listed. then click flash (do not stop it half way thru or power off or restart) once it has finished restart your computer It's entirely up to you as surely the drive is out of warranty and your not having much luck burning TOP OF IT'S CLASS media Flashing the drive is your risk I have flashed hundreds of drives without ill effect.

it means the controller it's attached to has some issues or you have been playing with your bios settings or installing not needed ata drivers or there is some corruption going on. -

It did set booktype to DVD-ROM check to see if there is a firmware update for the writer you have and also maybe check ram with memtest + -
maybe crossflash to a benq 1640 http://club.cdfreaks.com/f43/how-do-i-cros...or-740a-158571/ some have better luck after it becomes a benq 1640. It has some risk but read up on the link given

won't hurt to try another 80 wire ide cable and to also see if there is an update to whichever chipset controls your IDE, if your using nvidia drivers for ata storeage etc try just using standard ms ones.

You get the same error with SPTI instead of Elby I/O [edit] I see you changed back to SPTI. What about WNASPI32 or should i check your log again

better off with one of the video editing packages , dedicated authoring software like dvdremake pro or dvd rebuilder others on here have used programs like this to better advise you.

Think about buying a spare home DVD player as well but next time stay away from supposedly Superior brands like Hitachi/Sony/JVC/ and buy a cheap thing like Pacific/ Dual / Umax/ Coby/ as these will play just about anything, look for mpeg4/MP4/ xvid/ divx in specs as well.

They have made a killing again this year with sales of the DS Lite. Don't get me wrong I like Nintendo I just do not like companies which IMO seem to be spouting bullshit.

Sort of I was looking for any mention of font's by Ron Spencer to see what he was on about in other post and saw Kevdriver's post and thought I should respond.
