Have you tried to remake your slideshow? If all the pix and whatever are there in the files IB will make what you need. Get some better media, either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim DataLifePlus. CMC is garbage.

Not really, dye quality, manufacturing processes and a world of other issues make questionable media a definite no-no. The odds are that if you keep the discs you made for a year they may be totally unreadable due to dye degredation and whatever else the dvd gods have in store to plague us mere mortals.... Buy the good stuff (TY or Verb DataLifePlus) and at least hold your own against them...

Hobbs; I loaned my famous crystal ball to a band of gypsies and therefore have no idea what you are trying to burn to or how you set up the files for ImgBurn. What type of Media??? Please post a log from ImgBurn and maybe we can see what you did to create your problem. Edit: Great minds kev...

Hey all, 9:32 here on the North Coast. Been up since 0600 but had to go get and read the Cleveland Plain Squealer :& ...Raining and chilly out. Glad you got it sorted out.

Start ImgBurn in write mode, right click on your drive and scroll down the menu to the bottom. Click on firmware check and go on from there. I did a quick look at the site and couldn't find your firmware listed.

I down loaded a new firmware update and got it installed ok tell me more about the ide controller - are you telling me I can go to where i see all the devices listed and click on the one called ide controller and delete it. If I do this will the computer come back up and run or will it no longer find something it need to come back up - thank you in advance Yup...delete the controller and then when you reboot it will be reinstalled and your drive(s) will once again be installed and be up to expected speed...

You are two firmwares behind, check here. I agree w/blu, your media is crap. Corny is also correct, do the DMA thing and reset it. Then let us know how you made out. AHHH blu...great minds and all that...

We do not discuss ripping problems here, do a Google on PAL and NTSC formats and you will understand the problem. You might also want to search for the title in NTSC and buy it.

I currently have the Plex 716 and the BenQ 1655 installed and they both give excellent burns under ImgBurn...that is when I'm not being cheap and buying bargain basement discs to experiment on....however they are good targets for my potato cannons after I burn to them.........
