  1. The big "Write files/folders to disc" button should be pretty obvious
  2. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and it should work
  3. It seems the controller where the drive is connected to is messing up the communication. Try using the Incremental write type (Tools -> Settings -> Write tab). You may also want to try another SATA cable and other SATA ports. There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished).
  4. Look in the Guides section, as Cynthia made a guide explaining all the option in ImgBurn
  5. ImgBurn shows what your drive is saying, so it's your drive that isn't recognizing the disc. Have you tried a lens cleaning disc on that drive?
  6. Mount the ISO on your virtual drive then follow this guide (use the VIDEO_TS folder in your virtual drive as the source). You should then get a window with a few layerbreak options (use the Preview button ). By the way, update ImgBurn
  7. You could get a pendrive and be done with CD/DVD entirely :hint: :hint:
  8. Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. You might also want to try burning at 4x or 6x. Where are those Verbatims made? It's printed on the box/spindle/packaging. Also, adding to what Cynthia said, you were warned that it wouldn't fit:
  9. It seems your DVD player doesn't like DVD+R DL discs then. Could you try that disc on other DVD players? There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished).
  10. For SATA it doesn't matter, as each device has their own dedicated cable to communicate with the controller
  11. And now that you've hijacked his thread, would you mind telling us how your burner is connected? Latest driver for the controller? The OP's problem was an inappropriate adapter that was tampering with the communication.
  12. We understand that it could be useful in certain situations, but adding that to ImgBurn would require quite a lot of work, not to mention that the most common "large capacity" media that anyone can afford and burn can only hold 7.96 GiB (8.5 GB) of data. If you need a large file on a bootable disc you should be using vista or win7, as both of them can boot from UDF discs
  13. ImgBurn uses DirectShow to decode audio files, so if there's anything to change it's in the filter that's being used. You can use Graphedit to see which filter is being used and change its settings.
  14. Try DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD too if you can
  15. Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive to see if it helps.
  16. The burn process relies on the burner/firmware/media/write speed combination. There's no magic setting to make it work, if that's what you were hoping to hear.
  17. Try with better media, such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks. If it still doesn't work with them, then try a lens cleaning disc on that drive.
  18. Get a Pioneer DVR-215/216/217. You can buy them online for cheap prices.
  19. You might want to try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. Also try burning at 8x or 12x.
  20. You were scammed by someone else. ImgBurn is free software and it doesn't copy protected discs, which all current games are. Try getting a refund with clickbank or whoever processed your payment.
  21. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/DVR-112D/files.html
  22. Look for the latest drivers for the IDE controller your drive is connected to. If you don't know which one you have, you can use SIW to find out
