  1. With ImgBurn in Write mode, insert that BD-R disc and, after the drive recognizes the disc, copy all the text shown in the Information box on the right side of ImgBurn's window. As for the memorex BD-RE, have you tried a Full Erase on that disc? Keep in mind though that it'll take quite a lot of time to complete.
  2. Update ImgBurn to the latest version. Try burning at 4x instead of MAX to see if you get a better burn out of the low quality media you're using. If it doesn't work then try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  3. I don't think LUK has changed his mind or else support for this proprietary image format would already be implemented
  4. The default values (20MB for computers with less than 1GB of memory and 40MB for computers with more than 1GB of memory) work fine for most people. Are you having buffer recovery problems? If so please post the log from a burn where this happens (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  5. Slower doesn't always mean a better burn. Please post a log as Shamus said and we might be able to tell you how to get better burns
  6. Format needs to be done only once on brand new media. After that you can just overwrite the data. If you use other program to burn that media then it may lose its formatted status. You can preset the close program/shutdown computer settings in Tools -> Settings -> Build and/or Write tab, depending which mode you're using. As for ejecting the tray it's in the Device tab in the Settings.
  7. Update ImgBurn to the latest version. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot the computer after updating is finished). You do know that your PS2 must have a modchip in order to play backups, right?
  8. Please post the log from that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  9. The dialogs for browsing files/folders are standard Windows dialogs, and as such, they have limitations: you can't select folders with the 'browse for file' dialog, you can't select more than one folder with the 'browse for folder' dialog, etc. Try this: use Windows Explorer/My Computer to select the files and folders you want on your disc, then drag and drop the selection into ImgBurn's Source area (click the green arrow to make the area bigger if you want) and the files/folders you've selected will be added to the Source list. You can also enable the Drop Zone (look in View menu) and drag and drop the selection there for adding those to the Source list
  10. What you're looking for is an ISO editor. Have you looked at UltraISO/MagicISO/PowerISO/etc? ImgBurn is focused on burning discs, so I think this feature is unlikely to be implemented.
  11. You'll have to use a reauthoring program to split the content.
  12. Go to Tools -> Settings, enable the option "Don't Use DirectDraw Overlays" and click OK. Now try again and see if you get video.

  14. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-H552U/files.html (remove any disc from the drive and close the tray before updating then reboot the computer after updating is finished) If it still doesn't work after updating then get Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Made in Singapore blanks and it should work
  15. The Queue only accepts image files.
  16. MCSE only supports adding bitsetting capability on firmwares for DVR-109 and newer burners
  17. To be able to booktype on that DVR-107D burner you have to use a hacked firmware, and after googling for some time I couldn't find one because it's too old
  18. ImgBurn's Build mode doesn't support multisession, so there's no way to turn off 'finalise disc'.
  19. Don't change anything and click Install
  20. Most burners automatically booktype DVD+R DL to DVD-ROM by themselves. Do you have a log of a burn + verify on that burner? According to this it seems to be a Lite-On OEM so try the Lite-On tab of the Book Type dialog
  21. What OS does your computer use? Only Vista and newer versions can read UDF 2.50. In XP you need to install the Toshiba UDF driver in order to see the files/folders.
  22. Go to Tools -> Settings -> enable the option "Don't Use DirectDraw Overlays" and click OK. Now try previewing again. If it still crashes, do the same again but this time enable the "Don't Enable Sound" option. How does this work out?
  23. If I recall correctly ImgBurn uses standard API calls for file reading, and this hasn't been changed from 2.4.2.0 If you build an ISO image from those files and save it to another HD, how fast does it go?
