  1. That would be the /NOIMAGEDETAILS and /EJECT YES command line switches, which are all explained in ImgBurn's Read Me.
  2. In that case, look for the latest drivers for your chipset: use SIW to find out the brand and model (look in Hardware -> Motherboard) then find the manufacturer's website with Gooogle. You might also want to try burning at 6x or 8x or even trying the Incremental write type.
  3. You're right, the obvious thread is this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 You could try burning at 6x or 4x if you feel like making more coasters
  4. From the looks of it there seems to be communication problems with the burner. The external enclosure the drive is in, is it the original external enclosure by Pioneer or one you've bought separately and assembled yourself? Is it connected directly to the computer, preferably on one of the USB ports in the back? No USB hub or anything?
  5. Where's the whole log of that burn?
  6. Please post the log of that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu) in your old thread so that we can see if there's something to be improved
  7. You don't need to change to the Write mode to change the burn speed: while in Build mode you should use the Device tab. As for the Verify speed, yes, you choose it in the Verify mode and it'll be used for all Verify operations.
  8. The Verify stage uses the speeds set in the Verify mode, which are MAX/8x (data/audio respectively) by default. If your burner is slow at reading DVD-Video discs then it may be due to riplock. //edit too slow again
  9. The latest official firmware from Optiarc for that model is 1.05.
  10. ImgBurn doesn't support adding more stuff to the Queue if not by dragging and dropping.
  11. Try burning at 8x or 12x. Try with better media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks. Where did you get that firmware for your burner? If it came like that, what manufacturer made your computer?
  12. Use the Verify mode to verify the burned disc against that ISO image. Use a lens cleaning disc on that burner as it could help with your problem.
  13. You don't need to quick erase BD-RE media, just overwrite it: when you click the Write/Build button ImgBurn will ask you if you want to overwrite the disc then you say Yes. It's as simple as that
  14. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHAS122/files.html Any particular reason why you're using the Incremental write type?
  15. The Queue only applies to Write mode, which is designed to handle ready to burn disc images. What you can do is use the command line switches (look in ImgBurn's Read Me) to create a batch file that burns your VIDEO_TS folders one after the another.
  16. You have two options: you can shrink the contents so that it fits your single layer blank disc (video quality is decreased in this process), or if you want to split to two discs and keep the original video quality you'll have to re-author the disc and split the contents manually before burning. If I recall correctly DVD Shrink can do both of these options, although many other programs also can do it.
  17. With that .dvd image mounted, could you take a screenshot of what Windows Explorer/My Computer shows as the contents of the virtual drive?
  18. That's a Samsung drive and ImgBurn automatically booktypes +R media to DVD-ROM on Samsung drives, provided that the burner accepts the command. It can also booktype DVD+R DL media to DVD-ROM by itself.
  19. Your drive is a CD burner and DVD reader, also known as a combo drive. You need a DVD burner in order to burn DVDs.
  20. With ImgBurn in Write mode and a blank disc in the drive, copy and paste here all the media information text shown in ImgBurn's main window.
  21. Enabling BD-RE FastWrite increases the write speed by setting the Streaming flag, which then makes the drive not to check the data while burning, but this is just a "quick and dirty" method since the disc will still have spare areas. By formatting with spare areas disabled the drive won't check the data while burning, regardless of the FastWrite setting, and you'll also gain a few extra megabytes of space, which were being used as spare areas for defect management. Optimal Writing Speed is a feature of newer Pioneer burner where it slows down the burn speed if it detects the burn quality isn't good.
  22. For burning VIDEO_TS folder to single layer media follow this guide. For burning VIDEO_TS folder to dual-layer media follow this guide. If your source is bigger than a single layer disc can hold then you'll need to shrink it with another program before burning.
  23. Try installing this driver, it's a package that will install everything for your chipset.
  24. Reading the pink banner at the top of this page would be a good start, i.e. look in the Guides section.
  25. Try burning faster, those blanks are rated for 8x burning after all. You may also want to use a lens cleaning disc on that burner.
