  1. Try again with some better discs. Verbatim (MKM or MCC dye) or Taiyo Yuden. That drive is pretty ancient now so could probably do with a clean (using a cleaning disc), or better still, being replaced.
  2. Have a read. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=12200
  3. Please post a log of you burning + verifying one of those discs - as per the pink box up the top
  4. Clean the drive with a cleaning disc. After that you should probably get a new drive. It should not be having problems burning MCC-004-00 media.
  5. NewsLeecher seems to interfere with all programs developed using Borland/CodeGear/Embarcadero tools (i.e. Delphi or C++ Builder).
  6. If your drive supports it, ImgBurn will do it automatically. Show us a log of you burning and verifying a DVD+R DL disc.
  7. It looks like you'll have to use a regular write once disc instead (DVD-R or DVD+R). p.s. don't strip the top part of the log off please when posting.
  8. Post the log please - as per the pink box up the top The firmware on your drive is out of date, update it. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/DVR-107D/files.html
  9. Your drive is too old to support the 'RITEK-S04-66' MID/dye. Have a read. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  10. Eject and reinsert the disc. Does the message in the statusbar change to say something else (logical unit in process of becoming ready) before then going back to medium not present? Try some other discs in the drive - all types / formats. Original/pressed/silver ones and the stuff you can write to. Try CDs and DVDs. If it can't initialise anything it's probably broken.
  11. That disc isn't empty.
  12. Sorry, no.
  13. Advanced -> Restrictions -> UDF If you change the ISO9660 character set, you won't get uppercase + '_'.
  14. Update the firmware on your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Asus/DRW-1604P/files.html Try burning at 8x instead of 5x (which doesn't exist anyway - hence 4x is being used).
  15. Did you click the 'Browse for folder' button instead of the 'Browse for file' one? It's impossible to help based on what you've told us. For this, we'd need to see a screenshot of the enter screen - ImgBurn's main window AND the browse box itself.
  16. Post the log please, screenshots are of limited use.
  17. What's the log line above the ones you've posted there? I'd be interested in examining that mp3 if you fancy sending it to the support email address (details are in the program's About box).
  18. Hopefully you've got the email by now? If not, please let me know.
  19. Because you're probably doing it wrong. If you're in Write mode, the program will be looking for disc image files (ISO files etc). If there aren't any files of that type in the folder you're browsing, it'll appear empty. If you want to burn non disc image files, use Build mode.
  20. I never do anything special when reading or writing discs/images.
  21. Yes. ImgBurn reads every sector on the disc... so yeah it's 1:1.
  22. By default, ImgBurn automatically generates an appropriate file name for the image. So long as you don't change the name/extension (and only the path if you're not happy with it), you should be fine. The disc info on the right (when in Read mode) will tell you how many sessions/tracks are on the disc.
  23. That's not really the 'exact' description I was looking for. What's on the DVD you're trying to make bootable? What do you hope the new bootable bit will achieve? ImgBurn only builds new images, I can't inject anything anywhere.
  24. Yes. If the drive isn't performing full certification, it only takes a few seconds.
  25. You can't turn it off. What you can do though is set a custom size of single layer discs on the 'Media' tab. If your files don't go over that size, it won't ask you anything about a layer break.
