That drive is pretty old. There's a newer firmware available for it here - http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/DVR-108/files.html Do you have access to any other drives? i.e. the Optiarc one that burn the discs in the first place
-
Is your CPU usage high when burning?
-
You can tell ImgBurn to delete the files you burn using Build mode but I seem to recall it's only possible when calling it via CLI. The eject tray after write option already exists in the settings.
-
Post the full log please.

Follow the DMA post in the FAQ.

Nothing new, it all looks exactly the same.

You need a good drive / firmware / media combo to get working burns. Something out of those 3 isn't playing nicely... the software doesn't even come into it. ImgBurn just sends commands to the drive and then waits for a 'success' / 'failure' message. It's down to your machine and all the drivers to actually deliver the commands to the drive and return the status. If something messes up, ImgBurn ends up waiting forever (or until the command times out - which is what's happening here). Decent media is anything made by Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

First attempt to use product, need some help
LIGHTNING UK! replied to steven33068's topic in ImgBurn Support
You can't use ImgBurn to read copy protected media - which xbox360 games are. Don't waste your time with anything but Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media when you do actually get around to burning. Burning at MAX speed can also cause problems (or just lower quality burns). You should find 8x or 12x is better. -
USB isn't 100% reliable. If you can put the drive inside your pc properly, you should do. Try slowing the burn speed down to 8x. You might have a filter driver installed that's not playing nicely and the commands ImgBurn is sending are just getting stuck / lost somewhere. Click the 'Tools' menu in ImgBurn and you should find the filter driver load order feature. Copy the info to the clipboard and paste it in a reply. Also, if it gets stuck, you should at least be able to recover the PC by turning the usb drive off (or unplugging it). SP3 for XP has been out for a while, that's something else for you to update.

Buy some decent discs and slow the burn speed down to 8x.

Error message win xp drive HL-DT-ST-DVDRAM GSA-4160B
LIGHTNING UK! replied to Dawg's topic in ImgBurn General
You got ripped off by 'CopyThatGame' probably. (Note that you're on 'imgburn.com' now, NOT 'copythatgame.com') ImgBurn itself is freeware... always has been. 'CopyThatGame' just supply you with ImgBurn (without my permission and totally breaking ImgBurns licensing terms) and there's nothing I can do about it. -
You can get an updated firmware for your drive from here - http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/LH-20A1P/files.html

1. Load ImgBurn! 2. Click the 'Write files/folders to disc' button. Note: This is basically the same as switching the 'Mode' to 'Build' and setting 'Output' to 'Device'. You should now see a screen like this: 3. Insert a blank (or erasable) Blu-ray disc in your burner. Note: The message in the status bar should now say something along the lines of 'Ready'. 4. Add the files/folders you want to burn to the 'Source' box. For a Blu-ray video disc that'll be the BDAV / BDMV folder and the CERTIFICATE folder. To add those folders you can: A. Type their names in manually (one at a time!) and click the '+' button. B. Click the 'Browse for a folder...' button, navigate to and select the appropriate folder. C. Drag and drop the folders from an Explorer window into the 'Source' box. D. Drag and drop the folders from an Explorer window onto the 'Drop Zone' - assuming you've activated it via the 'View' menu of course! When that's done your source box should look something like this... 4. Now we configure the program for burning a compliant Blu-ray disc. Switch to the 'Options' tab and configure the settings as shown below. 5. Back on the 'Information' tab, you can now click the 'Calculate' button if you want to see the size of your compilation. When it's finished calculating the screen should look something like this: 6. Now we're ready to burn so click big 'Build' button! When/If you're prompted for a volume label, you can either use the one suggested by the program or type in a new one. Click the 'OK' button when you're happy with it. When/If the 'Image Information' box pops up, assuming everything looks alright, click the 'OK' button. The program will then burn your files to the disc. The End!

CD-Audio won't play! Why? It's a data disk...
LIGHTNING UK! replied to earhole's topic in ImgBurn Support
CDA files don't really exist. They're just a virtual link to the raw CDDA sectors (i.e. the audio data). -

Of How to burn downloaded computer games
LIGHTNING UK! replied to shen293's topic in ImgBurn Support
Like I said, decompress your rar file and see what you're left with. -
They're file systems and the device needs to 'understand' them for it to be able to parse them and find out the names of the files on the disc. Joliet is what most standalones will look for when playing MP3 / DivX discs. Use UDF when you're burning DVD Video / HD DVD / Blu-ray discs.

You will probably need to change the filesystem to ISO9660 + Joliet. No, ImgBurn doesn't support multisession at this time.
