You must have clicked the button to the right of the floppy disc image by the 'Graph Data' text. That button does the same thing as selecting 'Display Graph Data using DVDInfoPro' from the menu. Perhaps you were just randomly clicking and did it accidently? In any case, it won't prompt for DVDInfoPro unless to tell it to display the info using it. Again, sorry, I really don't know! It's not like the program is stuck in a 'while' loop or anything... some API call must just be taking ages to complete - and they're obviously not part my code, so I can't edit them.

They look like RAR files, so you need to unrar them! www.rarsoft.com

ElbyCDIO has nothing to do with ripping discs, it's an I/O interface, nothing more.

Correct. If you hide it, that's out of order and I'm likely to send the boys after you.

You can enter data in Build/Read modes via the keyboard - i.e. source / destination files, volume labels etc. Clearly I can't then just allow a character to change the mode or you wouldn't be able to use those letters in the fields or it would switch modes! The new real keyboard shortcuts are the CTRL + ALT + ?. You should use those. The others are only still in there because I did some lower level coding especially for them, but of course they're limited to modes where no other keyboard input is possible.

Once the terminated flag has been set within a thread (as is the case here), it'll terminate just as soon as it possibly can. I've honestly no idea why it's taking so long on your machine, I've never seen it happen on anyone elses. No, you just don't click the button that tells the program to display the info using DVDInfoPro - i.e. it's your own fault. It HAS hung. It's waiting for the thread to terminate and will sit there until it does. There's no timeout so it'll only finish when it finishes. You can't skip it because the thread is deleted once it's finished running.

If you have a VIDEO_TS folder containing IFO/BUP/VOB files and want to burn a DVD Video disc, it really doesn't matter which guide (from those two) you look at. It all really depends on if you want to take the quick route (#1 / on-the-fly / more risky) or the normal route (#2). To be honest though either one would be fine. #2 is just a little more work. If you have an existing ISO/MDS file, you use 'Write' mode. NEVER use Build mode. Write mode will create a disc BASED on the ISO, Build mode will create a disc with the ISO just being a normal file on it (i.e. you'll be able to see the *.iso file on the burnt disc as you could when it was on your hdd). It says 'choose' because you can't burn 2 things (images) onto 1 disc. That's not how Write mode works. An ISO file is an entire disc image, sector for sector. You select the MDS file because it contain info about the ISO that would be lost if you'd just selected the ISO directly. The MDS automatically knows the actual disc data is stored in the ISO so don't worry that the MDS is only a few KB in size.

ImgBurn Displays deleted files in "Browse for a file"
LIGHTNING UK! replied to noonehere's topic in ImgBurn Support
If it's in the actual open/save dialog box, that's windows own doing and nothing to do with ImgBurn. You'd have to find the MRU lists that windows keeps and empty those. -
I really appreciate you trying to keep things 'legal' though In this case however, we have to think along the lines of innocent until proven guilty. Unless told about the nature / content / origin of the torrent and it's blatantly a rip-off, I have to assume it's not.
-
What 'file' did you start with? What you put in = what you get out. ImgBurn is NOT a conversion program.
-
Not ALL torrents are illegal What you have is what gets burnt. So if you have an AVI and you want an AVI on the disc, ImgBurn will do the job. If you have an AVI and you want to make a VCD/SVCD/DVD Video, ImgBurn will NOT do the job. To convert AVI -> DVD Video, use something like ConvertXtoDVD from www.vso-software.fr

Not able to make Image of whole disk under Vista
LIGHTNING UK! replied to OldMelon's topic in ImgBurn Support
Do you have 'Include Archive Files Only' selected? It sure looks that way. When that's selected, the program only adds files with their 'Archive' bit set. -
Can a DVD +R DL be used as a single layer DVD?
LIGHTNING UK! replied to Gerard's topic in ImgBurn Support
I think what you're seeing is a different message. Yes, you'd get one about it being able to fit on a single layer disc (if it can), but if the image will also then fit on just the first layer of a double layer disc, you'll get a second prompt asking if you want to split the data between 2 layers or just burn on the 1. So I guess your image is too big for just 1, hence you're not getting that second prompt. Look at the info window on the right of ImgBurn's main window. You should see something like this: So basically, you have 2086912 sectors to play with on the first layer. Whereas a normal 4.37GB single layer DVD+R disc has 2295104. So to make it fit on the 1st layer of a double layer disc, you'd need to have an image no larger than: 2086912 * 2048 = 4273995776 bytes / 1024 = 4173824 KB / 1024 = 4076 MB / 1024 = 3.98046875 GB -
mount the ISO in DAEMON Tools. Google it.

Error message while trying to copy Sony DVD
LIGHTNING UK! replied to Eddie's topic in ImgBurn Support
ImgBurn isn't designed to copy commercial (protected) DVDs. -
Yes Shunna, blutach told you to sod off, you were a bit of twat for posting again. It's your decision if you download dodgy stuff or not, but at least have the brains to know what you're doing with it and don't ask people for help.... that's just plain stupid.
-
Clean the drive? Update the firmware? Are you sure you weren't using +R discs and the drive only supports +R, hence why -R don't work? Try another batch of Verbatims. Failing all that, I guess your drive has just worn out or developed a fault. Replace it.

Can a DVD +R DL be used as a single layer DVD?
LIGHTNING UK! replied to Gerard's topic in ImgBurn Support
The program will prompt you to do exactly that if it determins the image can fit on a single layer of the double layer discs. Just remember that 1 layer of a double layer discs is smaller than the size of a single layer disc. -
Minor Bug: 'verify' mode broken for imaged CDs
LIGHTNING UK! replied to scuzzy's topic in ImgBurn Bugs
It's the actual file selection process that's screwing up. If you go from a long filename to a shorter one, it won't work - hence it's not reproducible 100% of the time, it depends on what you select. There's nothing actually wrong with 'Verify' so to speak, the dodgy function is one that's common to many bits of the program, it's just more obvious in Verify mode. -
Minor Bug: 'verify' mode broken for imaged CDs
LIGHTNING UK! replied to scuzzy's topic in ImgBurn Bugs
Whenever I say something is fixed, I mean it's fixed ready for the next release. I'd only reupload a new version of the same version if I caught a massive problem within about an hour of releasing it - otherwise it's just not worth the hassle. -
It doesn't write UDF 2.50, so basically, no. It would make the disc in UDF 1.02, which is perfectly readable, it's just not the 'standard' format for Bluray discs.
-
Put them in a VIDEO_TS folder and add that to the 'Source' list. You'll still at least get the 'Image Details' prompt though - unless you turn it off in the settings of course. It always does a quick format on media that accepts such a thing - so I guess you're using DVD+RW media (which doesn't) and the discs are not in the proper state so as to be considered 'Formatted'. When they are, the program does direct overwrite - i.e. no format / erase is required. Most (if not all) the prompts can be turned off in the settings if you take a look around.
-
eject the disc, let the program load and then put it back in Your drive is just being stupid. Try looking for a firmware update for it as it may fix the issue.

Yeah, read the 'ReadMe.txt' file that's installed alongside the exe.
