  1. rgh43 I would humbly suggest that this is enough discussion about shrink and DVDD and the rest. This is the ImgBurn Forum, we do not discuss ripping techniques but we will gladly discuss burning problems if they involve ImgBurn and not some other program(s) Agreed, we've already let more out of the bag than we should have.
  2. I do prefer the manual burn as most do, but some people insist on taking the lazy route.
  3. SuperAntiSpyware is another good program to put in your tool chest and will pick up things the others don't....and it's free. http://www.superantispyware.com/
  4. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...2&hl=bluray
  5. Imgburn isn't a decrypter and won't read from a copy protected source....you'll have to find help elsewhere. This certainly isn't a bug either...
  6. Happy birthday Clink, hope you have a good one!
  7. The firmware is the first fix to see if compatability issues can be overcome. Your first log indicated a different MID than your second log, but both are undesirable media. Take the advice and get some Verbatims or Taiyo Yuden and don't stray from the yellow brick road.
  8. Are you just trying to get it to work on the xbox or do you actually use it as a DVD player?
  9. the xbox's are finicky....make sure you are booktyping too.
  10. Most betas are quite reliable.
  11. The link worked fine for me. Firmware updates increase compatability with new media and improve write strategies among other things. All the necessary instructions on flashing your drive should be included in the readme.txt file included with the download. Make sure no discs are in the drive when flashing.
  12. I would choose 51/49 as it is closest to 50/50 with the least amount of padding.
  13. Oi ~ http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...01&hl=queue
  14. I would go for a Lite-On or Pioneer, but Blu may try and convice you otherwise.
  15. I don't use RW discs, but I'm sure they follow the same rules as regular write once discs and Ritek can be dodgy. I would assume this is a compatability issue and I would look for some nice Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden branded discs in the future.
  16. I suggset Lite-On or Pioneer for a new burner.
  17. Do you have a stand alone player that will play divx/avi video? If not then you might want to just buy a DVD burner ($30-$40) and install it in your machine to make life easy.
  18. Booktyping capability is a must for some users....suggested brands would be Lite-On, Pioneer and LG.
  19. Posting a log would be even better.
  20. Imgburn will not read/rip from a protected source and we can't discuss programs that will here. Try Google.
