Oh and don't worry about using the latest official firmware either In my few years on the forums I have hardly ever seen problems when using the newest official firmware.
Occasionally owners prefer a certain firmware for burning their discs but for most of us the latest firmware is the way to go
Nah I have been better lately blu and the majority of my posts seem to be outside the Chat forum I know it's hard to believe but there you go !
So 57% of my posts are not in Chat - I was amazed myself
I use IE6 at work and did at home until it got fooked up and kept closing itself all the time. Since then I have used Firefox without any issues so don't feel the need to change.
polo is right - when I have burnt at 16x the quality scans using DVDinfoPro have been lower than burning the same .iso at 8x. Seeing as it only saves a minute or so at most I tend to stick 12x now which is a nice compromise.
Hi Shamus My name is lfcrule1972 and I am Forumaholic !
You are quite right I used to be addicted to the forum, now through a combination of work and family commitments I am slowly weaning myself off my time here.
Some weekends I hardly even have 10mins in here....
I haven't seen that episode db - perhaps it's in the new Torchwood episode this Sunday ?
Just heard on the radio that the new Torchwood has "fuck" in it twice in the early minutes and more gore - can't wait. That said our 5 year old may be a little shocked !!
I admit I have never heard of this before - surprised the drive would allow you to format a DVD-RW as a CD-RW but I don't know much about them....
I am sure you have realised that ImgBurn allows you to fully format a disc, when you did this disc was it doing the full format ?
Also have you just tried writing to the disc and seeing what happens then ?
Nah there is nothing similar here in England db, as for you and the comments on the pledge it could be worse, there was a bit on our news yesterday about a student in the US with a "kill Bush" myspace site that had a visit from the FBI at school
By my reckoning the disc lives in the Satnav system so therefore should not really get much handling, therefore it's less likely to be dropped etc....
I reckon you will get rid of the car before the disc is knackered
