I think I will stick with SVP, thanks Jack. I know they are good for you dontasciime but Jack isn't the only person I have seen to have troubles with them.
SVP have always been great for me, quality customer service and good prices too.
There is currently no option to delete the VIDEO_TS folder following a successful burn, I am not sure if this is something the boss can add relatively easily - I am sure he will reply soon.
I agree with polo - Taiyo Yuden dye is one of the best there is alongside Verbatim dye. You really should have no problems burning those at 8x so I wonder what is causing the skipping on your player.
I assume the burns all pass verify on ImgBurn ?
Also cos your drive doesn't support jitter scanning your quality results are probably a bit higher than they would be if it did.
Funny how your scan appears to continue after the end of the data on the set immediately above ?
They look ok, I see that it didn't quite reach 16x tho due to the size of the data being burnt but scan looks ok doesn't it ?
Where is the write info from the top graph fella ?
I replaced my first laser a few weeks back, the thing just stopped loading up any games or films.
Struggled a bit as mine is a V4/5 PS2 my usual place no longer stocked replacement lasers and had to order from a place recommended by dontasciime. All worked out ok tho.....
Is the size of the files you created using diko the same as the .iso that ImgBurn creates ?
I would guess that almost certainly this is a settings problem with the conversion program. As you probably know ImgBurn takes your files and creates an .iso it doesn't change the settings of the source files.
