Instead of trying to be clever why do you not just listen.
The members of this forum and previous forum have seen this behaviour before, whereby someone comes along, says everything was fine now its gone belly up and it must be the programs fault. They try and help and you do nothing but disagree with the free advice given.
If clone CD works then do them a favour and goto their forum, keep paying them money and whilst your at it do the people trying to help you on this forum the opposite and leave them alone.

I build all my computers, the only thing i did not build was the laptop I used to own.
I have 2 of the Samsung syncmaster 940mw I bought them specifically for me and my son to use on xbox 360.
They are a combination TV/Monitor though i will never use em for TV as analogue input and picture quality from UHF ant is or will be poor.
Even scart input is poor as is the composite in. Where it stands out is in 720p/1080i, (component) 1080p when i buy either VGA or dvi output cable for the 360,s component is not 1080p compatible.
Using VGA fro his PC is fine for bios, just dvi does not initialise in time for bios.
Just with you having a bought a Samsung i am curious to see if it is a little niggle with Sammy or gfx card dependant or a mixture of both.
-
I take it you have no problem getting into bios at boot up whilst using DVI cable and your Samsung LCD.
-
sorry, dont, but I don't understand the question. Why wouldn't one be able to get into the BIOS because one's using a DVI cable?
can you get into the bios with your samsung and dvi cable ?
I have samsung lcd for my 360,'s they also have dvi and vga for pc, whilst using dvi i cannot get into the bios of the computer i have it hooked up to, wondering if it is inherent with samsung or maybe gfx card dependant, i have no problem whilst using dsub (vga)

I never use mp think mine is either 9 or 10, not sure if this will fix the imapi or whatever handle it has, goto options plugin and untick nero fast cd burning.
maybe untick windows cd burning on the drive as well
If that does not work then remove plugin from media player plugin options
goto copy music tab as well and untick copy cd when inserted or whatever it says.
Also goto the devices tab and check properties on the dvdrw untick cd recording which is what i meant above by Windows cd burning.
One of those surely has to work

depeche mode (people are people)
People are people so why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully
So we're different colours
And we're different creeds
And different people have different needs
It's obvious you hate me
Though I've done nothing wrong
I never even met you
So what could I have done
I can't understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand
People are people so why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully
Help me understand
Now you're punching and you're kicking
And you're shouting at me
I'm relying on your common decency
So far it hasn't surfaced
But I'm sure it exists
It just takes a while to travel
From your head to your fist
I can't understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand

IDE 0 [primary] 1st hd 80 wire cable [master]
IDE 0 [secondary] dvd-reader same 80 wire as Hd [slave]
IDE 1 [primary] dvd writer 80 wire [master]
IDE 1 [secondary] 2nd hd same 80 wire as dvd writer [slave]
tx between dvd rom and writer is fastest you can get
hd tx 2 hd fastest you can get
Any Iso you have to write to DVD store on Hd 1
Any compression on video files store on hd 1 process onto hd 2
Any reading of files use dvd writer to read (hopefully no riplock on writer) store files on Hd1 [edit] actually depends on layers, read -5 to hd 1 from dvd writer, read -9 to hd 2 from your dvd reader.
That would be how i would set it up to do task your after, unless i missed something

Edit anyone wanna buy 9 A-one DL+
Whats that I need to pay you to take them off my hands, OK, how much

whats listed under ide/atapi controllers in device manager ?
-
Dunno why all mobo manufacturers are going down this route, nforce5/6 Intel 965/975, i think Ati new chipset is the same.
It's like they think the ide is a bottleneck, well if it is and i seriously doubt it, i will put up with it, I want 4 ide and 10 sata1/2 (i would settle for 8 sata1/2)
I hope that gigabyte board is faster than their ****** servers ffs 6k a second for a 7 meg file.
make sure your using latest chipset drivers for mobo as well.

Cheers.
I will stick with 2.4 for a little while, so that my 360 backups work, then increase upto 4, then stick them in my benq other liteons and pioneers to try.

have you got your burner and a hard drive on that one ide 80 wire.
You would be better off setting burner to master and using sata hard drives.
These new motherboards with one ide are IMO stupid.
My MSI 975x pue has only one ide so i have my burner as master and a reader on there the rest of my hard drives are all sata, and i just stuck in a sata samsung /tosh/ shd163a (cough)
One ide is not good enough for me, though more and more sata roms/writers are appearing still, in non raid sata 1,2 is not much faster than ide.
Maybe your burner has had it or the board just does not like it, have you got an external caddy you could stick drive in and burn via usb2 to test drive etc.
Not sure if there is another ide on that board eg a third party one, jbmicron do see to get the job when a 3rd party ide is required, as mentioned make sure your mb bios is updated to a stable one, look out for any other bioses for 3rd party ide etc) i think in your mobo though its dedicated to southbridge ich8r.
-
Anyone tried burning them @4x as my liteon indicates 2.4X and 4X, I am asking specifically for the 360, thanks
I also got some a-one (well a pack of 10 just to see if i could get away with them ( Ricoh dye )
-
I was actually just talking about using the top left button - 'Record Disc'
I missed that bit with it on about cd rom/ record etc. Yeah i see now add tracks
-
Where's Wally ?
-
Which option in cdrwin, extract sectors etc.
Have i got the right version 4.0c
Also you say from mp3 to audio , these have to be stored on cd (the mp3)
so you got say clubmix 10 which you ripped to mp3, then when you play them back from a playlist they stutter at change over from track 1 to 2, you then pass them thru cdrwin and recreate and audio cd from the mp3s and its like you had just copied the cd on the fly etc, no audible stutters between tracks.
