  1. I think we need to clarify this. Are you trying to burn your 16 mp3s onto a CD as just normal data files or are you trying to burn them in the same way MusicMatch Jukebox does (or whatever program you use) to convert them to .wav files playable in something like a DiscMan or CD player?
  2. This is a bit of a grey area. The "Fair Use" policy doesn't exist in certain parts of the world. Certainly not in Australia. I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist in the UK either. As this forum is run from the UK (even though it's hosted in the USA), technically, we can't help you make a backup of copyrighted material, which is what your Windows disk is, even if your local laws allow it. I would suggest searching Google.
  3. Gran Turismo 4 should have been a great game. The thing that made it a bad game was the constant disk grinding and loading between levels making the game pretty much unplayable. Pressing the game as PTP was unforgivable and unnecessary.
  4. Download the setup file again. Re-enable and update your anti-virus software and also check your machine with an online virus scanner such as HouseCall. A corrupt file or a virus will cause problems. You can find HouseCall here: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
  5. Agreed. Since finding a local distributor for Verbs a few months back, they are all I use. Single or Dual layer. They're brilliant.
  6. A full log from Imgburns' bottom window would help alot.
  7. It shows that LFC can't tell sheep apart. The photo above isn't Flossie... it's her half-brother, Rackolam. Flossie is camera shy which is why she's hiding at the back of picture.
  8. Must be some pretty crappy software you're using there DB. The joiners I've used in the past only join, they don't change the files in any way. You could always try using the command line assuming the individual file headers don't screw something up. eg. Assume you have 3 files to join to create a forth. The command would be something like: copy /b file1.mpg file2.mpg file3.mpg finishedfile.mpg
  9. Try here DB: http://www.dirfile.com/freeware/mpeg-joiner.htm
  10. The photos prove nothing. That pretty red bow. Those big brown, innocent eyes. Those sheepish looks. The way she chewed with her mouth open. The way she said "Baaaa". What guy wouldn't be turned on?
  11. Nowhere in particular really. I spend a bit of time looking around the heavy metal sites and sometimes see something I like. The one I have ATM is something I used to use a few years ago until it corrrupted. LFC found it again for me the other day. (Thanks LFC!)

  13. What a buncha bastards they are, Grain. I think it's disgusting that we, as a forum, can't be a little more mature. We are supposed to be a group of adults here and, whatever they think, I'll stick by you, mate. It is not our place to comment or ridicule......... even if you do enjoy watching a screaming homosexual running around in a dress.
  14. Polo: That is a very diplomatic (if not a bit cryptic) response.
  15. I'm downloading Ubuntu as I type. I'll post the results in an hour or so. EDIT: Just for reference the source file will be: ftp://mirror.d-jacobs.com/ubuntu/edgy/ubu...esktop-i386.iso
  16. Using the latest version would be a good start.
  17. Too bad it wasn't a grenade. With luck it rendered him infertile and unable to further contaminate the gene pool.
  18. I think buying a DVD burner would be a good idea also.
  19. There certainly is. http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=35315
  20. The Best of Culture Club? Sorry. Couldn't resist.
  21. The only one of the above I've tried is ImTOO which also seemed to have problems with audio/video sync when I was stuffing around with it. Dunno what the hell went wrong. I think their reasoning is control. If you control the format used and don't license it out, your competition is going to be next to non-existant. I suppose that's why Micro$oft is going to be selling their own version soon.
  22. I would put this remark by Apple down to delirium brought about by chronic and excessive masturbation. Try the CucuSoft package. They even have free trials. http://www.cucusoft.com/
