  1. Sure...add Hard Candy & Crank if you haven't seen them...very good
  2. Sounds like a job for Superjack!... Quick summary?...well it was made to celebrate the shows 20th anniversary and it had five doctors in it and one master. Hows that? Till jack shows up heres a link... 5 Docs
  3. I think your last paragraph mmalves explains the problems I've been having with Ram discs. I burn a Dvd to one and it will only playback on pc not stand alone...

    DVD Ram

Sorry to resurrect this but I'm having problems with ram discs... I burned a Dvd to Ram Disc which overwrote the data which was on the disc from new. I suppose it was some kind of packet format data. The film wouldn't playback on my friend's Panasonic Dvd Ram recorder, it just showed Un Formatted on the front screen. So if I burn a Dvd Ram with Imgburn it wont play on my mate's Dvd player, but it did play back on my PC. I'm trying it on another friend's player to see if it works on that. Can Imgburn be made, or are there settings, to write a Dvd to Ram disc without destroying the format info that's already on there? I assume it's ok for burning data... Thanks...
  5. Well they keep hinting at it...he was a dad once, and had a brother, and he was a grandfather in the beginning. Can you imagine it if they all turned up? Very strange...
  6. Site seemed to be playing up yesterday...thats twice I duplicate posted... Hey blutach, I found a tech forum yesterday you're not a mod on...what happened there?
  7. Just been reading up on what happened to Romanadvoratrelundar. Which one would you like back 1 or 2? 42 Douglas Addams, thats what I thought...the answer is 42...obvious when you think about it... Wonder what that 2 parter in the middle of the seasons about? - set in a boys boarding school...
  8. Well the last episodes of the series is a 2 parter called 'The Last of the Timelords'. Now I could be wrong, but my intuition tells me it could be answered there...The last 3 are written by RTD so they should be great. Bringing back the Master, maybe? Dalek 2 parter next week. Cool - looking forward to that...
  9. Edit: duplicate post... Sorry we are yes. Beware of the dark side you must. Feel yourself changing the post... I still think he's a genius and their shite.
  10. Agreed. I found the hard way that Nero burnings not a patch on Imgburn and with the Verbatim discs problems just don't happen. Hooray! The question I have is how could this be? How can LUK! working on the program by himself outdo Nero with all the people they have working for them. Is he that good or are they that bad?
  11. So what did you think of gridlock guys? The Macra, the large and deadly race of crab-like creatures seen in this episode, were first seen in the 1967 Patrick Troughton story 'The Macra Terror'. I liked it a lot...an original story with lots of content and good acting. Still making my mind up about Martha though. I think they will bring Billie back next season and she's just a stop gap. I read a story today that the Americans are going to make a big budget version with Hugh Jackman as the Dr and they want Billie in it...
  12. Look like George Formby to me... ...this was taken in later life when his popularity had faded and he had to earn a living as a living statue...

My systems a pre-built Advent Core2 from PCWorld. I bought in January to avoid Vista. Getting an adapter from SVHS to RGB sounds like a good idea, but I'm now thinking of updating my Dvd Recorder. Something that an external hard drive would plug into would be good. Thanks for your help...

NVIDA GeForce 7300 SE Changed the settings as you said and its now burning at 3x. Thanks donta...a good tip Also when a new disc is loaded for the first time Imgburn gives a warning that the disc is not empty and do you want to overwrite the disc? Something like that. What's that about?...

    DVD Ram

Ok, so I bought some Dvd Ram discs just to try them out. Doesn't matter that they wont playback on my LG stuff as that can be changed, and they will play on my PC.
