    Help

X360 games are protected and ImgBurn can't copy protected discs.
  2. That log is from creating an ISO image. Please post a log showing the burn problem.
  3. That's because Ner0 Vision converts the video to DVD-Video (the format that any DVD player can play). Try using DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD to convert that file to DVD-Video and it should play fine. If that's a high-definition video (720p/1080p) you'll lose quality when converting. By the way, the PS3 should be able to play the .m2ts file. Maybe it didn't because it's bigger than 4GB?
  4. You have to do that in the folder that contains that file, or at least specifiy the full path to that file. Anyway, codec packs are more trouble than they're worth: they install a bunch of codecs that you'll probably never use and most of the time this screws up DirectShow's merit list. Please uninstall the codec pack(s) you have and then try again.
  5. Or replace the burner, as that one only supports DVD-R/DVD-RW at 2x max speed, while for many years burners support both -R and +R formats. If the laptop has USB 2.0 ports you could try and get an external burner
  6. You might need to convert the video(s) to DVD-Video format before burning, so they'll play on any DVD player. You can do that using DVD Flick (free), ConvertXtoDVD (paid) or similar programs.
  7. If the disc is unprotected simply copy the folders using My Computer/Windows Explorer.
  8. You'll need to use a DVD authoring program to do that. Maybe DVD Flick can do that.
  9. Try burning at 8x or 12x and see if it works. You might also want to try with better media, such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  10. Is that drive on a Dell computer? If it is then have a look at this link. You might also want to update your chipset drivers (you can find out which chipset you have using SIW/Sandra/similar tools).
  11. ImgBurn's settings are stored in this registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ImgBurn ImgBurn's logs, saved projects/queues and graph data files are saved in: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\ImgBurn or %APPDATA%\ImgBurn if you prefer Unless you have specific needs, the default settings work fine for most people
  12. ImgBurn shows what your drive tells it, and, in that case, your drive thinks there's no disc inside. Please post a log from ImgBurn (you can find it at Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs) so that we can try and help you further.
  13. The latest Nvidia drivers are buggy and give that error. The next ImgBurn version (release date unknown) will have a workaround for this. In the meantime, try using another I/O interface (Tools -> Settings -> I/O tab) and it should work
  14. Aren't Wii discs protected? ImgBurn can only copy unprotected discs.
  15. If you mean burn a DVD with 24bit FLAC as data files then yes, ImgBurn can do it. If you mean burn a DVD-Audio from 24bit FLAC then no, ImgBurn can't do it. You'll need a DVD-Audio authoring tool for that.
  16. The files are listed in alphabetical order in the filesystem, so it's your player that isn't following. Which filesystem(s) are you using? From my experience ISO9660 + Joliet is what works best with those players.
  17. That's not something ImgBurn can do by itself
  18. Use firmware HH17 (or HH18 if you know what you're doing), as having the latest firmware ensures the drive will use the best write strategy for each media. You might also want to cleans the lens on that drive. Try burning again with Verbatim, maybe you just had a bad disc. Other dual-layer media are useless, so you'll be wasting your time if trying with them.
  19. Could you post the log from a failed burn? You can find the logs at Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs.
  20. Newer burners do better burns at 8x or 12x, but if it passed the Verify then the disc was properly burned. Are you burning Windows 7 beta ISO image? I'm asking because more people said it burned and verified OK but get the missing file message.
  21. The burner is probably connected to a USB 1.1 port, so it won't reach even 1x
  22. That particular disc was damaged in the failed burn, so you'll have to throw it out. You can look for firmware updates with the laptop's manufacturer but it's unlikely that they've added support for 8x DVD+R DL blanks since that burner is old. If you can't find the Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) blanks as LUK suggested, you may want to get a normal-sized burner in an external enclosure. They're much more reliable than laptop burners and you'll get better burns on most media
  23. That progress bar shows how much time is used, based on a standard 80min CD-R(W) capacity. It'll get to 100% when you've reached 80min of audio. It has nothing to do with decoding capability, which, by the way, is done at burn time.
  24. Driver isn't the same thing as drive (e.g. the burner itself).
  25. Please post the log from that burn (you can find it at Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).
