    help

Check your motherboard's manufacturer site for updated IDE drivers, if there are any. Also look into your motherboard's BIOS and check if DMA (sometimes referred as 32-bit tranfers) is enabled on all IDE devices.

Please read post #2 from the FAQ You might also want to defragment your HD(s)...
  3. Try using DVD Flick to convert that DAT file to DVD-Video format
  4. You probably need to convert your video to DVD-Video format, which is the format that any DVD player can play, and to do that use DVD Flick (ConvertXtoDVD is another good choice).
  5. Right-clicking the ISO file and choosing 'Burn using ImgBurn'? This thread from the Guides section shows the 'manual' way
  6. Please read post #2 of the FAQ
  7. Set BartPE to output to an ISO image, which you can then burn using ImgBurn
  8. Use the Preview button, young padawan, and select one where a slight pause will be less noticeable (fade-in/fade-out/scene change/etc)
  9. It would fit perfectly in Tools/Settings, under the I/O tab. Maybe call it Buffer Size?
  10. ImgBurn is just a burning tool, it can't convert anything. For that, try DVD Flick
  11. Try Nero CD-DVD Speed
  12. Those discs are low quality. Get Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and you'll never have problems again
  13. Use Daemon Tools to mount the image to a virtual drive, then you can use any DVD player software to play it. VLC Media Player and Media Player Classic are able to play directly from the ISO image file. The DVD Region coding is defined by the authoring software you've used to generate your DVD-Video content, and ImgBurn doesn't change anything.
  14. Please post the log from that attempt (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs).
  15. Get the latest model available for the interface you want to use (e.g. GSA-H50N/H55N for IDE or GSA-H62N for SATA). By the way, you may want to read the LG DVD Writer FAQ
  16. The Supported Write Speeds parameter shows which speeds are supported by your burner/firmware/media combination, and, even though you can choose any speed, it's up to your burner to obey or not. Most likely it'll burn using the closest speed available to the one you've chosen. If you're still in doubt, please post a log from one of those burns (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs).
  17. Please post the log from those burns (you can find them at Help/ImgBurn Logs).
  18. Use the Read mode of ImgBurn to create disc images from your DVDs, then switch to Write mode to burn those images to new discs. We recommend using Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media, as they're known for being high quality. Have a look in the Guides section to learn more about ImgBurn
  19. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=59 - see post #9
  20. It seems your burner doesn't like the media you're using. With no disc in the drive and the tray closed, upgrade its firmware to the latest version (A304) then reboot the computer. As for media, we recommend Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden for single-layer, and for dual-layer only Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001 Made In Singapore.
  21. Sounds like you're trying to re-use a disc from a failed burn. Please post the log from that attempt (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs).
  22. Post #28 of this very thread
  23. Does it play normally on the computer (using DVD player software)?
  24. ImgBurn is a burning tool, not a ripping one. Sorry, but we can't help you with that.
  25. That happens when one tries to Erase Disc (Quick or Full doesn't matter) with a 'non-rewritable/reported as Unknown by drive' disc: ImgBurn asks you what type it should be, then it proceeds to erase/format the disc based solely on the information provided by the user. You can even do it without any disc in the drive.
