  1. The boot section of a disc isn't a real file, therefore it has no name. IsoBuster calls it '[implementation ID].img' just for the sake of saving the whole boot section as one file. Try using ISO9660 + Joliet as the filesystem. In the Bootable Disc tab, did you set Sectors To Load to 4?
  2. Someone didn't see the 'Add to Write Queue When Done' option from Read mode
  3. Of course! Try clicking that link again, it should be working now...
  4. We can't help you with copying protected DVDs. We can help you with burning issues though, and since a failed verification means it was a bad burn, please post the log from that burn (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs).
  5. Try this one: TS-H552U_US09.zip It's exactly the same from Samsung, but in ZIP format. Run SFDNWIN.exe and manually load the TS-H552U_US09.bin file (click the first button on the top left corner). It should start the flashing process as soon as you've selected the firmware (if it doesn't then click the second button on the top left corner). Remember that there should be no disc in the drive and the tray must be closed before doing this.
  6. Remove any disc from the burner, close the tray, apply the latest firmware available (US09) then reboot your computer. Also try burning at other speeds. As a last resort, you might want to use a cleaning disc on that burner. Have you tried DVD+Rs? As for those ~10 burnt discs, if you had Verify enabled when your burnt them, and they passed the verify process, then they're fine and you don't need to worry about them.
  7. With ImgBurn in Write mode, select the smallest (size-wise) GI file and, if it's compatible (i.e. no error messages displayed), it'll be burnt properly.
  8. You'll need to use a program like DVD Shrink to re-compress the movie.
  9. Also install the latest version of ImgBurn, as yours is pretty old
  10. Please do a Search with the word bootable and you'll get plenty of results. If you still can't find the information you're looking for, feel free to post here
  11. Yes, it converts MP3s to CD Audio format (which works with any CD player) and, as such, you'll tipically be limited to 80 minutes of music per disc.
  12. Yep, that guide is for the upcoming version of ImgBurn. For now, try using Burrrn

  14. Use the Preview button and test all of them, young padawan, so that you can choose one where a momentaneous freeze in the picture will be less noticeable (fade-in/fade-out, scene change, etc) Padding is when dummy sectors are added so that the selected layerbreak can be achieved.
  15. //edit please ignore this post
  16. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_defra...tation_software Personally I use JkDefrag or Contig, as with both you can defragment only one file (the ISO image) provided that there's a large enough gap available in your HD
  17. Have DVD Shrink output to a folder and then follow this guide: How to write DVD Video (IFO/BUP/VOB) files to a double layer disc
  18. Your disc... ... is garbage and the log shows that your burner is having a hard time trying to burn it. Your other disc... ... seems to work OK, so use it for now. Next time you're going to buy media, get Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden discs, as they're the most reliable manufacturers. By the way, you should check your source files/directories, as this image is pretty much empty and won't work. Click Reset Settings in the Options tab and start over, just to be sure
  19. Change Write Speed from AUTO to 8x
  20. Please go to Tools/Filter Driver Load Order, click the Clipboard button and paste it here in a new post.
  21. There's newer firmware (1.03) available for your burner
  22. Please post the full log from that burn attempt (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn logs).
  23. You have I/O Debug enabled, so press F8 to disable it
  24. If you think it could be something you've changed, go to the Options tab and click Reset Settings.
