  1. which errors? Waiting for hard disk activity to reach threshold level ? its not an error , just info .you can disable it in settings . maybe your hdd and burner share the same cable?

  3. look under help->imgburn logs or if the programme is running just press 'L' on your keyboard. firmware updates add new discs to the drives write strategies and improve on existing strategies on some discs

  6. i am running more or less the same gadgets as you are but i dont have lock problems. did you use process explorer as described in the faq?
  7. are you running imgburn by right clicking the icon and choosing run as administrator?
  8. if you select 4x it will burn 6x as its the closest supported speed

  13. if you do as mmalves describes above , after the layer break choice window appears and you have made the layer break choice , you can either burn direct to dvd or make a new iso/mds on your hard disc, its all explained in the guides section.

  17. if it is connected to the mb it should be reporting ata so i would say its a bios setting (raid confusion maybe) or drivers edit: is the ide port intel or jmicron?
  18. glad to hear its working for you, just out of interest, what is imgburn reporting on the successful burns, still scsi or ata? is this a dell pc?
  19. is the burner attatched to a pci card or the motherboard? if the mb then check your ide drivers
  20. have you got win rar associated with *.iso?
  21. check your dma , theres a post in the FAQ about it http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?s=&...dpost&p=967 don't confuse NTFS and NTSC
  22. you will need a liggy and dee firmware from over at cdfreaks forum to bitset with nec drives http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/en/NEC-ND-3550A/
