  1. open imgburn , go to tools/settings/I/O and set it to spti press ok
  2. if these discs have copy protection on them , imgburn can't help ypu
  3. either look in the log just when it starts to verify (remember to put a tick in the verify box) example or in the right hand pane afterwards further down where it says 'Physical Format Information (Last Recorded)#39;
  4. it wont change where you have shown until after the burn
  5. you could transfer the files to your hdd using daemon tools , then take a look here http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showforum=4 use only verbatim +R D/L discs for a good result, every other dual layer disc isnt worth the time
  6. can't you use spti? http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/ASPI_Driver.html
  7. you have a combo drive , you can burn cd's but only read dvd's
  8. looks like your dvd rom is having trouble reading the disc. maybe a firmware update may help as long as the disc isn't protected of course , in which case imgburn can't help you. you say you are new , so , i hope you realise that once you have the files on your hdd that you can't burn them to dvd?
  9. i don't see why i should change it when i own the original and besides i could alter the name of a folder to call it a film that was in production if i want to , the point as mentioned by blutach is , i didnt download it from the internet as stated in your post Mister Mike oh well i'm guess i will make a back up of terminator starring Arnies great great grandchild
  10. so dont use it, its only checking to see if there's an update for your benefit and totally free, dont take Lightning's word or anyone from here's word for it, look here , this is totally independant of the software http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/...g/ImgBurn.shtml
  11. its when you keep choosing the wrong file and have to re-curse it every time dammit , wrong one again
  12. i read the guy was a russian , Vladimir Kutizkokov
  13. go into write mode and burn it, dont build an iso with an iso in build mode
  14. the discs you have now (in your log) are MCC-004-00 , this is one of the dyes we recommend so i doubt they are your problem, changing these could add to your problems
  15. king kong is way too small to be a dvd, so you must have authored incorrectly. both discs used are pretty bad quality unfortunately, try verbatim or taiyo yuden and check your iso's before burning them by mounting the iso in deamon tools and check it using media player CLASSIC or power dvd
  16. its the server not allowing certain combinations
  17. the main problem you have is your media, i'm sure with the latest firmware(which is regularly updated btw) and verbatim discs, your troubles will be gone
  18. just to add another option , you can also use dvd shrink and follow this guide http://www.dvdshrink.info/splitting-v2-3.php but this bit makes me a bit worried as we don't support piracy , it could of course be completely legal...
