LFC ,I booked it permanently with this company last Friday ,after busting my ass for the last 9 months running 3-4 thousand miles a month on my car ,and getting a promotion to Project manager and being told I was being given a raise. I opened my check and the raise was a wopping $1 an hour, for the position and headaches of running 10-15 jobs at a time and all the paperwork involved with the state ,school boards government centers and judicial centers etc it was more of an insult than a raise so I told them to stick the job where the sun don't shine. I took this week off to relax and catch up on all the things you neglect when you work 70+ hours a week .I'll get another job next week .The look on their face when I resigned was priceless, now let them hire someone else at the money they wanted to pay me, if he doesn't spit in their face he'll bust a rib laughing and they'll realize what a mistake they made . I get on average 10 calls a day from people that dont realize that I dont work there any more and I made it real clear why I moved on before they start badmouthing me which they do when someone leaves the company

Shamus ,I'm curious about the temp rising so fast when the air is off, do you have insullation in the walls and a double layer in the attic /ceiling also double pane glass in the windows ? Brick is notorious for retaining heat during the day and releasing it at night .Being in the construction buissness I see it all the time the cavities around the windows with no insullation being a huge problem with heating/cooling ,doors that aren't hung just right or having no seals and 1/2 inch gaps at the saddles ,the energy people here will do an assessment on how to make the house more tight and effecient heating /cooling wise. LFC the houses being wood framed, its just a whole lot cheaper and much faster to frame and a good crew can have a small house framed in a few days .Its really about speed when you have a payroll the faster you get it done the better your proft margin .Another thing to consider is the area real expensive areas you'll find brick and stone but they can afford it and it fits the neighborhood

Its a Dell Dude . I remember when they were great but anyone thats sticking AOL( nothing but a marketing company with more pop ups that they block ) and all that other crap on their machine can keep them .You can call Dell and maybe they can get you a real OS disk and #'s for it hell you paid enough ,all these repair discs are for SHIT. Other option is to buy a copy of Win XP and format the HD, this way you'll know that all their crap is gone and you will always be able to reinstall when its the easiest way to fix a box thats not running right. Then of course they mess with everything that they install on the box so you have to go to Dell for drivers etc etc .I remember them messing with Power DVD so it was Dell Power DVD and you couldn't open a file from the HD to watch a dvd

Buy Verbatim DVD+ DL ,everything else is taking a chance and will probably give you issues .For single layer disks Verbatim +R and Taiyo Yudens are the best bar none
