  1. If I'm not mistaken, that burner is in a laptop and is a "slim" type model. Based on posts in this/other forums - it's trickier to get good burns with such a type of burner compared to the "regular" full height burners. Normally Verbatim works best out of the available double layer media on the market with most burners - but the only way to know for sure is to try. Other than that - I can't see any "wrongs" in the settings based on the log.
  2. Is it a double layer disc you have inserted? If so - that model can't burn those discs. (It is however possible to rebuild it to a 2510 model).
  3. Main Menu -> Mode -> Write Now you should see the model in the drop down list.
  4. If you have SP3 - then you have the IMAPI 2.0 update in the SP3 update - so 'Device Interface' is the default one. It handles the locking of drives better than the other options - you can see what program that is that is locking your drive if ImgBurn can't lock it. The only way to disable the 'SPTD' warning (except uninstalling the driver) is to disable the setting 'Interfering Programs' in the tab 'General' in the settings. SPTD has been with Daemon Tools for ages - so it's there in ver 3.x also if I recall it right. SPTI and SPTD is not the same thing.
  5. Hi and welcome to the forum, kendal159! What model of DVD writer do you have?
  6. If it's re enabled for the languages - it's because they shipped new ones for SP2.
  7. Looks as it doesn't like those Ritek discs. Perhaps try with some Verbatims?
  8. Might be so, if it can't even write Verbatims without errors. Perhaps try to send it in for a service/warranty issue.
  9. Are those discs genuine Verbatims?
  10. Tried another write speed like 4x or 6x?
  11. Can you post the full log - the first part also?
  12. Hi and welcome to the forum, Naim.dor! Post a burning log. You'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
  13. Hi and welcome to the forum, wolfie7! Post a log - you'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
  14. Looks as it's some type of .avi/divx file. Can your stand alone player play such files or must it be in DVD Movie format (a VIDEO_TS folder with .ifo/.bup/.vob files)? If not - you need to convert that file into DVD Movie format with a program such as DVD Flick.
  15. There is an old sticky in the Deamon Tools Forum on how to solve uninstall issues with the SPTD driver - but the link is stone dead. http://forum.daemon-tools.cc/f26/how-remov...-tools-v4-6992/ Post a thread over at their forum, as it's their program you are having issues to uninstall, they should know better how to fix your issue.
  16. Hi and welcome to the forum, Sgttoaster! Have you tried the 2.4x write speed?
  17. There is an uninstaller in the programs program folder, if it's that you are trying to do.
  18. You need to set the value in this place for it to be permanent: Main Menu -> Tools -> Settings -> Device -> Eject Tray After...
  19. Hi and welcome to the forum, djh235! Not sure what you mean with "if I split the cells like the directions says to do". Is it the 'End of the World Problem' window you see? If it's not and you are using the build mode and see a ImgBurn window that asks you to pick a layer break - the original source files are still on the hard disk.
  20. Hi and welcome to the forum, lacollier883! The burn looks ok (but you should burn something with the 'Verify' option enabled to rule out any re reading problems for the burning part). If all you other players can play the disc - it sounds to me as the player might need to be in contact with a DVD optical head cleaning disc. As the Verify part of the log is not here, it might be that you could/already have those discs book typed to 'DVD-ROM'. Not all burners have this feature.
  21. Hi and welcome to the forum, Paden! Put the setting 'Write Mode' back to 'Auto' and update ImgBurn to ver 2.5.0.0.
  22. Hi and welcome to the forum, tomreedtoon! Main Menu -> Tools -> Settings -> Registry Deselect the options you want in the 'Shell Extensions'.
  23. The same discussion about the 'Warning' status has been for this little fellow - but at the end of the day it's still the author who writes the code - so it's up to him. W 19:13:06 Drive C:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size.
  24. Hi and welcome to the forum, korcjan! Never been able to burn something without errors on this new installation? Latest chip set drivers for the mother board installed?
