  1. Use Command Prompt/WinRAR/7-Zip/etc to change the extension of that disc image. Alternatively, configure your Windows to show file extensions (by default they're hidden so you can't edit them).
  2. You know that you don't need to erase DVD+RW, DVD-RAM or BD-RE media before rewriting on them, right? Simply click the Write/Build button and ImgBurn will ask you if you want to overwrite the disc
  3. And what does it show when you put that disc in your Panasonic burner?
  4. That's what DVD Flick (freeware), ConvertXtoDVD and many others do. Not to mention that's really out of the scope of a burning tool
  5. Have DVDFab output to VIDEO_TS folder (I think it's the default bahviour) then use ImgBurn's Build mode to burn that VIDEO_TS folder directly to disc. Much faster than DVDFab's ISO creation step and, personally, I trust ImgBurn's DVD-Video capabilities more than any other program
  6. I think those TYG02 discs are fake, unless they're Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or Sony branded.
  7. Please post the log from that burn (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs).
  8. Somehow it still isn't using DMA mode. Have you checked for driver updates for your motherboard's chipsets? Is the drive connected as master at the end of a good 80-wire cable? Please re-check your BIOS settings and try deleting the IDE controllers again. Unfortunately that's the only way to force Windows to really reset back to using (Ultra)DMA mode.
  9. Your drive doesn't support the media you're using (notice that it doesn't show any Supported Write Speeds). A firmware update can, in theory, add support for burning that media, but CMC discs are known for their low quality. You'll have much better results using Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore. You can find newer firmware for your burner here -> http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/en/NEC-ND-3500A/ (Liggy's 3500 bitsetting Firmware 2.1b seems to be the best option) Remove any disc from the burner and close the tray before flashing the drive. Even if you're going to use Verbatim DVD+R DLs, having the latest firmware ensures the best burn quality //edit: Sorry Boss I promise I won't do it again
  10. Please post the log from ImgBurn (you can find it Help/ImgBurn Logs).
  11. Try other burning speeds, preferably 16x and slower.
  12. ISO images usually are MODE1/2048 bytes per sector, and even though you forced ImgBurn to use the .ISO file extension, you still need the .CUE file for the disc image to be correctly interpreted.
  13. Yes, you must keep it, as it contains important information about your disc image. If you're curious, open it with Notepad and you'll see
  14. Mini-FAQ for Samsung DVD writers <- you'll like what this says
  15. Please take it to DVDFab's official forum as this isn't a problem with ImgBurn and/or the burn process
  16. Two completely different problems. We can't help you without seeing your logs.
  17. 10 bucks that it's an OPC issue or a problem burning Super Smash Bros Brawl
  18. Try that disc on a DVD player and see if it recognizes it as an Audio CD. If it does and plays OK, then your car's radio doesn't like CD-Rs or it doesn't like the ones you're using. By the way, at what speed have you burnt that disc?
  19. That's only needed for DVD-Video (e.g. VIDEO_TS/IFOs/VOBs/BUPs) discs. Anyway, when you've added DVD-Video content the the Build mode, ImgBurn checks your settings and asks you if anything is wrong
  20. The Read mode copies the disc as it is (i.e. you can't change stuff). To do what you want it's easier to copy the contents of your DVDs to your computer, then use ImgBurn in Build mode to burn them back to discs. May I ask why you need UDF 1.50 only?
  21. OPC is automatically performed by the drive at the start of a burn. The difference is that from ImgBurn v2.4.0.0 and on, a command to perform OPC is sent to the drive before the actual burn stage, so that possible problems with your media/burner/firmware combination can be spotted before wasting a disc with a failed burn. Notice that if the OPC command fails ImgBurn will ask if you want to continue anyway or if you want to abort
  22. Try burning at 8x. If that doesn't solve your problem, check your computer's memory with Memtest86+
  23. Go to Tools/Settings/Write tab, enable both DVD-RAM / BD-RE FastWrite (*) and Prefer Format Without Spare Areas (*) then hit OK. Now try a Full Erase and/or Discovery mode
  24. I have that DVD player and everytime this has happened with me it was a problem with the subtitle file. Open the subtitle with Notepad and it should be similar to this: 100:00:03,000 --> 00:00:05,650 DESESPERO DE STEPHEN KING 2 00:02:03,800 --> 00:02:05,320 LIMITE DE VELOCIDADE 3 00:02:05,630 --> 00:02:07,330 A ESTRADA MAIS SOLIT
