  1. I think it's almost certain they did test a nuclear device mate - it's all over the news here this am
  2. I think I will stick with SVP, thanks Jack. I know they are good for you dontasciime but Jack isn't the only person I have seen to have troubles with them. SVP have always been great for me, quality customer service and good prices too.

    Plextor

They need to be careful that they don't spoil the good name they have by these pulling these sort of moves
  4. se ? I think you lost something boss
  5. I think it's 1000 mate.....
  6. Check out the FAQ here for more on the DMA, you may just want to run through it all anyway especially as Windoze reports DMA when often it's not.....
  7. Thanks for the update Kev - look forward to seeing MJ back here soon.
  8. If you're a really good boy digi maybe the Galatica fairy's will bring you a copy....
  9. Here is a pic of my house ken...........
  10. There is currently no option to delete the VIDEO_TS folder following a successful burn, I am not sure if this is something the boss can add relatively easily - I am sure he will reply soon.
  11. I agree with polo - Taiyo Yuden dye is one of the best there is alongside Verbatim dye. You really should have no problems burning those at 8x so I wonder what is causing the skipping on your player. I assume the burns all pass verify on ImgBurn ?
  12. I just picked the DVD-ROM setting for DVD+R and DVD+R DL and left it at that, no need to change it back and forth as far as I can see.
  13. I assume you have tried all the usual ? Switch off, check ribbon cables, check power then reboot. ? If you pop a DVD in it can you play the movie ?
  14. The buffer when burning with my BenQ DW1655 fluctuates as well donta - not much just at the top I think it hovers around 92% when burning
  15. Now the green block graph is going off the page !!!
  16. Oops forgot to say, on the DVDinfoPro settings change it so that the graphs are displayed as blocks - makes them look prettier !!
  17. Also cos your drive doesn't support jitter scanning your quality results are probably a bit higher than they would be if it did. Funny how your scan appears to continue after the end of the data on the set immediately above ?
  18. They look ok, I see that it didn't quite reach 16x tho due to the size of the data being burnt but scan looks ok doesn't it ? Where is the write info from the top graph fella ?
  19. I replaced my first laser a few weeks back, the thing just stopped loading up any games or films. Struggled a bit as mine is a V4/5 PS2 my usual place no longer stocked replacement lasers and had to order from a place recommended by dontasciime. All worked out ok tho.....
  20. Is the size of the files you created using diko the same as the .iso that ImgBurn creates ? I would guess that almost certainly this is a settings problem with the conversion program. As you probably know ImgBurn takes your files and creates an .iso it doesn't change the settings of the source files.
  21. Maybe....just maybe the PS3 will be better..... You never know.
